Determine Matchmaking Locking
If there a way for the devs to find out how someone disconnected? Cause every now and then I get the odd blip and disconnect which results in a matchmaking lock. Even on a bad game I won't disconnect so I've found this a little annoying.

No, there's currently no way to tell if someone disconnects on purpose, which is why the matchmaking penalty penalises all disconnects.

You can hear if someone timed out or purposely DC'd, however the system cannot detect if they just closed their game or not

in theory if they changed when the penalty applies from upon disconnect to upon reconnect they could use information from the system to determine the validity of the disconnect (logs will show if the game was closed gracefully or crashed, and at least on PC it should be able to detect if the NIC was in a disconnect state by either wifi antenna turned off or cable disconnected. Not sure if console would give the same sort of hardware state access)
