Is it possible/acceptable to tunnel two survivors at the same time?

Hi, newish Killer here, rank 15.

So earlier I got into a lobby with Myers, who I bought yesterday. I was running Play With Your Food, Save The Best For Last, Corrupt Intervention, and Iron Grasp. (Just for context on how the match played out.)

As soon as I got in the lobby I noticed that 2 players, a Quentin and an Adam, were fully prestiged. My highest level character is my Plague at 46, so I was pretty nervous. I expected the match to go awful. They brought a map offering, Hawkins. There was a Cheryl, the obsession, and a Jake.

In the match, I immediately found the Jake and Cheryl working on a gen. Stalked until they noticed me, initiated a chase on Cheryl to get the speed stack, then chased the Jake. Caught him, hooked him. Started patrolling gens, had a feeling, started going back to the hook. The Quentin unhooked and I hit him, then completely ignored the Jake for the rest of the match, if I could. I only ever used the Cheryl for Play With Your Food stacks.

Anytime I possibly could, I chased the Adam and the Quentin, because I knew that they were my biggest threat. After a goodly amount of Stalking, some lucky Mind games, and a little bit of slugging, I managed to Sacrifice both the Adam and the Quentin.

The Cheryl went down easy with a T3 hit, and as soon as I hooked her, a gen across the map blew. I quickly checked where the gen was and managed to catch him running toward the Cheryl. Hooked, dead.

So was this tunneling? I justified it because it was two people, not just one, and they were way too high level for me to justify going after the Adam instead of them. I try hard to play fair, never tunneling and only camping in certain, extreme situations, (such as all gens done or a very well placed hook.)

Prestige doesn't really mean that a player is good at the game, it just means they play a lot. I have even seen legacy players make questionable plays.

ofc, you can tunnel all four survivors at once and face DS four times in a row because of it /s

In regards to how you play, the most important thing is to keep in mind how you would feel playing the opposing role and avoid doing (within reasonable limits) actions that you wouldn't like being done to you. The terms and definitions being thrown around in places such as these have their usages, but knowing them well so soon doesn't do too much (other than make you sound informed). Most importantly, don't let another player who may or may not be frustrated at the errors and bugs (rather than being frustrated at your playstyle) in the game override your internal guiding compass.

Thanks. I just know how toxic the community can be and I try really hard to make sure people have fun. So when I do stuff like that to try and win, I feel bad.

I actually thought you meant simultaneously tunneling them

Was going to say, any survivors who don’t run in separate directions when you’re chasing them could probably use a good tunneling, tbh

If you're tunneling more than 1 person, it isn't tunneling.
