Anti-Optimal play perks
So I have a question. Why aren't there too many perks causes survivors to play badly? Having a single a potato in your team is extremely detrimental so how hasn't there been more perks that punishes optimal plays and why are they below average? Is it balance reasons? I'd like to know your opinions on this
Let me show you what I've found. Thanatophobia and I guess Blood Echo makes survivors overly altruistic. Deathbound is supposed to force a pair of survivors to group up. Dragon's Grip can sometimes scare a survivor from tapping a regressing gen. Dark Devotion can make survivors panic which is great because it makes them sloppy.
Also before someone tells me this, no I do not consider perks that trigger upon unhooking as an example of these perks since hooking survivors is a killer's main objective and being rewarded for doing so is not an optimal play punishment. Same thing with totems since because of the current meta, doing bones is basically the main objective.
