My first day in the forums.
Within my first few hours I made many negative posts.
I regret this.
But even in those negative posts, the community was being helpful.
I don't want to play vs doctor, but I'm going to quit being a brat and suck it up. Gotta be a team player.
I don't like that children play this game, but I'm not their parents, and I look even more childish complaining about it.
Only a member for a few hours before I got my warning, but I had a long talk with a mod and they helped me understand the difference between criticism and offensive behavior.
The community (while some may be rude) the majority just want what's best for the game.
So I thought I'd make a positive post, change my toxic behavior and joined the community instead of fighting it.
I love dbd, even with the bugs that have been around for years.
I wish nothing but the best for the devs. While other games get delayed (looking at you Cyberpunk) dbd keeps on the content.
The only way to stop toxicity, is to attack it with kindness and understanding.
This community may be more toxic than others, but strangely, it seems to be pushing me in the other direction... a less toxic direction... and I sincerely appreciate that.
You all deserve my thanks, and that is why I made this post.

That's a very healthy way of looking at things. We've all made posts we regret (me included) but it's good that you can reflect on what you've said and decide to try and change that.
I really do enjoy this game, and I want it to succeed, and (as much as they can irritate me sometimes) I do feel like BHVR cares about the game. Sometimes the decisions they make absolutely boggle my mind, but I know they're trying.
A big things I've noticed with these forums (and something I've done myself) is people just want to complain to be negative. Complaining is okay, as long as it's for criticism, but people that complain just to start an argument (or vice versa people who think only their opinions matter and won't listen to any other opinion or argument) are bad for the game and the forums. All they do is perpetuate a stupid cycle of negativity.
Anyways, I'm glad to see your more willing to look at things in a more positive light. Sometimes, this community can be great. Welcome to the forums!

Thank you.
Unrelated, lol, how do I go about deleting my past posts?

You can't, as far as I understand. Best you can do is ask a mod to close it. You can just flag your post and ask them. I'm not 100% sure why it's like this though.

My guess, it's to prevent abuse of the flag.
I have to wait before flagging my second post due to a spam blocker.

Awesome job dude!
Welcome to the forums!
Nothing wrong with a good debate, just remember keep it respectful even in a disagreement.
I can't tell you how many times I have learned from the different perspectives and discussions on these forums.

Welcome to the forums.
A place where some people can't have a good argument and instantly call you "survivor/killer main" when they can't back their stuff up.
Hopefully you have a great experience here and also there is nothing wrong when having a good argument, people here do have good arguments sometimes.

I'm glued to the deck of the "Die on first hook when facing Doctor" boat, and the forum's not changing that for me :/

Atta boy my dude.
Have fun with it. It's a toy.

When I originally posted that it surprised me to see how many others posted helpful tips to facing doctor.
I still think doctor, and the counter measures to play vs him, are booooring.
But I'm not going to ruin the game for my team. Least I could do is play diversion and break bones.

Good for you! I have moments against people or teammates where I'm like, hovering over the DC button but I know I can either make the comeback of the century or completely wreck the pip system lol! All you can do is move on and hope for the best. I'm glad you're being mature about it and I hope your matches get better. Good luck and have fun :)!

Calm spirit neuters doc's tracking for a specific survivor, so level jake up and nab the teachables

I don't like bringing perks just to counter specific killers, but I get it.
Calm spirit is good for other reasons, but i like my solo build.
