Lobby dodging. Let's discuss...

I don't dodge as Survivor, wait times are long enough and if the match goes poorly at least I got some BP or a tome challenge progress out of it.
As Killer there's a couple reasons I dodge. I will dodge if:
1. I'm playing Hag and there's more than 2 flashlights in the lobby.
2. It's a group that I feel is a toxic swf, can't really explain but from my experience against certain item pairings, cosmetics, names, etc... they give me a gut feeling that it's gonna be a bad time.
3. If everyone but one person is readied up. With this one I'll wait it out sometimes but I usually dodge at a certain point to avoid the last second switch.
As killer my queue times are almost instant so I know that whatever team I've just dodged will get a new killer quickly, if for some reason my killer queue times are slower I will usually just deal with the match and if I end up against those quads I can't stand I'll just mess around or go afk until the match is over because I won't feed the bad behavythat turns newer killer players away from the game.
Personally I am against lobby dodging penalties as anyone in a lobby has priority match making, when a Survivor leaves at most it's taken a minute or two to get another Survivor, when killers dodge we usually have a new killer within 30 seconds so it's a complete non issue.

Definitely against penalties for dodging, especially now that killers are locked once they queue up. If you're a Hag or Wraith and see 4 flashlights, your best options are to either dodge the lobby or AFK during the match. Plus, you damn well should dodge a lobby if the ping is bad, that's why it shows the ping in the first place.
I don't usually care enough to dodge. I'll dodge if I see "TTV" or "YT" in a player's name. If I see three Claudettes in a lobby and then the fourth survivor changes from whatever they were to a Claudette, I ditch the lobby, that crap ain't cute. I mean, it's not uncommon for me to ditch a lobby if all four survivors are the same character, anyway. Last time I played with four Megs, I hooked one, then couldn't remember which one I hooked so I just went AFK. I've even had matches where two were Lauries and I got frustrated because I couldn't remember who I'd just hooked.
As survivor, I may ditch if there are two Claudettes. I will definitely absolutely every time ditch as survivor if there are three Claudettes.

As a survivor I dodge when I see many flashlights. Why? If they are just mocking the killer then you're in a 5 gen M1 simulator, needless to say I play as killer as well so I get his frustration as well. And generally as I am not a god looper or something like that when the killer chases me, he proceed to hook and camp me when I was the only that wasn't mocking the killer
As a killer the same, I hate people who bring flashlights just to mock so I'll dodge.
I think that's the only circumstances where I commonly will dodge.

I only lobby dodge if theres a key or a mori in the offering screen. Otherwise I stick it out. 4 blendies with similar names? Sure, I'll play, lol.

Also when the game redirects me to the EU servers for some reason. The servers in southamerica are in Brazil and I already get frustrated by not getting hits when I should have, just because the servers are on Brazil and I am against brazilian players, then they laugh at you when the distance to the servers creates issues when they shouldn't.

Don't dodge. Instead bring a Mori and good add one when facing SWF.

I mostly dodge lobbies when my latency to that lobby's server is poor. Matchmaking bans for lobby-dodging is not something I ever want to see added for this reason.
It's not even like anyone is heavily inconvenienced by dodges with the current lobby system either, since other players are no longer kicked back to the main menu. I can't see a reason this would be needed.

The only time I'll dodge as killer is when I see friends and I know they don't like the killer I'm on.

I don't dodge because the rating I get at the end of the match isn't what I use to measure if I had fun.
Also I'm not a baby. Lobby dodging is basically a DC before the game starts, and if you do that you're like a little kid that throws his sucker in the dirt because you landed on the 'Go to jail' space in Monopoly.

As killer if I see lobby of flashlights with ttv/yt in gamertag I'll dodge. Someone else can provide them with content.

used to be a never dodger, but then the killer option got locked, and I am unwilling to play against survivors that are named "mori me Myers" when I am not Myers.

I dodge keys and ebony

Keys are easy to see in the lobby, but how do you dodge an ebony mori?

During loading screen ๐

i dodge if i see keys/ 4 man with lots of hours aswell because most time im playing very weak killers. i will probably close the game if i see an ormond offering or haddonfield during loading screen, or if they change last second to what they really want, so i couldnt prepare for that, imo thats dishonest from survivors so i may dc on loading screen i can find a match in 10 second despite them.

Ah. I can't do that on PS4, it procs the disconnect penalty.
As killer, I burn those shroud hidden offerings all the time. I have yet to have anyone dodge them.

There's a lot of good points and I ain't judging.
I'd rather you dodge lobby than throw a match.
I still think you are missing out tho.
Frustration is really just up to you.
Swf with flashlights and keys, ttv or yt, mori's, all of this sounds like a fun match to me, but I go into every game expecting to lose and that makes it even more rewarding when I win!
Perspective can condition expectations and curb frustrations.

I tend to recognise most people I play with when I play on Xbox so I know who (in my opinion) is good or bad. I will lobby dodge as survivor if I have teammates that I've previously played with and know are bad, and I'll lobby dodge as killer if I get into a lobby with strong survivors/ toxic survivors. I will also lobby dodge if there are loads of flashlights or a key and I don't have Franklin's Demise on a killer. I mostly lobby dodge as killer but queue times aren't too bad as killer so it doesn't bother me.
