Who is your favorite killer and why? Include the build you use

Why do you like your favorite killer as much as you do? Explain and include the build you like to run on them please.

Right now, I don't really have a favorite killer except maybe for pyramid head and Oni.

I like Pyramid head for the sheer oppressive capability he has. I run tinkerer, undying, ruin, and discordance on him with no addons. This build is just so good on pp head because it allows you to regress generators and constantly pressure the survivors. I even memorized most of the cage spawn locations so I can really hit the survivor team hard by going towards the cage and tunneling the caged person if it is convenient. (I don't usually go out of my way to tunnel, if the caged person runs into me or is in a bad spot, I will go after them)

For Oni I run infectious fright, M&A, BBQ, and pop. This build allows me to get the drop on survivors and snowball pressure easily, and regress generators with pop. This build is great because it is fun to use and effective on Oni.

Trapper (no special build, whatever i feel like using, i love playing around with talents)

Sound is very important to me :

i love the sound of him breathing behind his mask (like a bear)

the sound his cloth makes when he picks up traps/Survivors

ALL sounds the Traps make, setting a trap and especially the snapping sound always "tickles" me ;)

Gameplay wise i love Traps! luring/herding Survivors into them, cutting of loops etc... 😍

and he was the FRIST Killer i ever saw in a Match, i think that somehow left an impression on me

  • Clown.

I love mindgaming survivors at loops. The blurred screen makes it real hard for them to know where you're coming from (especially if you moonwalk around corners)

I like to use the Garish Makeup kit as the first addon - the prolonged duration of the gas as well as the larger area really cancels off a lot of potential loop areas if thrown ahead of the survivor.

The other addon I like are the extended intoxication duration addons. Even when survivors are out of the cloud, they are still hindered and lots of times expect to be able to pull a fast vault (while they can't).

His laugh is absolutely fantastic too.

I sometimes go through phases on my favorite killers. At the moment it is hands down Hillbilly. My build is:

Enduring is my favorite chase perk on Hillbilly. I prefer pallets down and it works really well with Mother's Helpers if I ever feel the urge to use them.

Ruin/Undying to slow the game down. The aura reading gives me chase clues as well.

Barbecue and Chili for bloodpoints and to find the next chase with.

My "flex" perk is usually Enduring. Base on the addons I bring with Hillbilly, I will often switch out Enduring for Monitor and Abuse because it works so well with the "silent" builds like Belt Buckle, Off Brand Motor Oil, Engravings, Apex Muffler, etc.

Deathslinger - Spies from the Shadows, No One Escapes Death, Barbecue and Chilli, Enduring.

Pig- Spies from the Shadows, Infectious Fright, Make Your Choice, Surveillance.

These are my two current favourite, however I tend to chance interest in killers each week or two and try to shuffle perks to find my perfect build.

  • Demogorgon, sure he may not excel at everything, but he can do a little bit of everything fairly well.

So the result is a killer who has a TON of build possibilities which makes him very fun imo. You can play him in a lot of different ways.
