I had another survivor trial but the hacker was another survivor. He could hook/unhook himself multiple times, teleport, basically insta-heal, spam dead hard (okay that looked funny and was worth a chuckle).

We tried to bodyblock him so that the killer could get him but before we managed he just "complete" all gens by click, open the door and sets the endgame timer to zero so we instant died. Sadly I didnt manage to clip that.

I'm glad you got video evidence of at least one hacker! Report them in-game and then fill out a support ticket at dbd support, supplying all needed information (including steam 64 id). Take the extra 5 minutes to report and help actually ban people like this.

Yeah, there has been a significant rise in cheaters in DBD recently, more than ever before anyways.

They are outrageously obvious too, there is one where you can set your height so you can float around in the air; and one that lets any killer throw huntress hatchets; basically use any killer power on any killer via some kinda memory injector or something.

It's getting a bit silly because they seem to be bypassing the anti cheat fairly easily now. Sure these guys will of course be reported and banned with evidence; but the ones who are being subtle about it...well that's harder to report =/

The "no name and shame" rule is there because it's far too easy to fake stuff like that. I can create a throwaway account right now, pretend to be you, cheat while a friend records, taking care to avoid playing while you're streaming so you have no alibi, and post the video here along with your identifying information. You'd get hit with a ######### storm even though it wasn't your fault, which you would have no way of proving.

Even if the accused are guilty, though, it doesn't justify the harassment that would ensue, just like every other instance of mob "justice". It has nothing to do with people being "offended by nothing nowadays".

As for EAC, no anti-cheat is perfect. EAC adapts to new cheats as they come, like any other anti-cheat. It's like asking why doctors exist if they haven't cured every future disease; that's not how it works.
