Do you want to heal yourself?

Do your teammates hate you for wasting time doing practically nothing?

Do you hate being called selfish?

Do you want to spend less time Self-caring in the corner when you could be doing something else?

Well now you can! With this magical trick, you'll be able to heal yourself faster and actually contribute to your team!

Anyway the trick is to bring a medkit and run Pharmacy. Now you have 2 medkits for the trial which you can use to heal yourself for half the time Self-care gives you. Wow! But that's not all.

Now you can also heal other survivors even faster and not end up in the forums where you'll be insulted

So what are you waiting for? Level up your Quentin, get a medkit, and ditch that Self-care into the bin where it belongs

    If you ran self-care with Pharmacy, your med-kits would also last longer.


    Botany knowledge also makes med-kits faster and last longer.

    you could also bring Inner Strength and get rid of bones

    Or any team aura reading perk to find teammates for healing: Bond, Bloodpact, Kindred, Empathy, Aftercare, those have also other uses.


    there is a time and place for Selfcare though. But it’s probably never in that corner while Sloppy Butcher‘ed and 2 others on hook and the third in a chase.

    There's better ways. Inner strength. Self care with Botany saves more time than most of these as long as you don't use it through Sloppy. Pharmacy is reliant on your teammates not spawning on chests and wasting them. Bond with Leader is also good for gen focused builds allowing you to get a quick heal and immediately 2 man a gen.

    I've been using Botany and selfcare with a yellow medkit recently and its great. The medkit is faster and lasts forever. Can be used for even faster panic heals on teammates or to take protection hits with no major loss to the teams map pressure.

    Survivors who heal make me laugh. Instead of a healing perk, bring Iron Will and enjoy all the benefits of of being healthy.

    I get what you're saying. I've had a lot of games where either me or my team are hoarding good items for future matches with Ace in The Hole and Plunderer's instinct. However in higher ranks it's highly unadvised to search for chests due to the risk of attracting the killer for a brown toolbox or wasting 2 perk slots for the perks I mentioned above. But that's a good thing for Pharmacy because it means nobody is opening chests and you'll always get a green medkit even if the killer is running Hoarder.

    Botany + Self-care works very well but I like perk slots more than items just in case I get matched up against a Legion or Plague. Having 2 unusable perks is worse than one and an unusable item. Inner Strength is great and let's me contribute to my team in a different way and honestly, I can swap out Pharmacy for it. Leader is awesome until you go against Bubba and your entire team ends up being 40 meters away from each other.

    Also the point of having 2 medkits is to have it for longer, it's not necessary to make it last the whole match.

    No joke: I run inner, pharmacy, and detectives hunch.

    I also bring either auto syringe, or standard green kit.
