Is the mmr on again?
I'm still being paired against rank 10s-13s when I'm in rank 1.
This is really unfair for new players, I've been letting them leave 2k 2 escape.
But anyways, to the topic, is it on? And how are your experiences?

Should be the fault of the rank system. But MMR-System could be tested in the background, i dont think they want to release it again without being sure that it works.

The devs stated that the MMR is a priority, but at the same time they've been saying that for months. Most likely if they turned it on there would have been an official announcement, but considering how long it's taking I wouldn't be surprised if they shelved it altogether. Currently they're reworking the Twins, so that's probably where most, if not all of their focus is right now.

They don't matter but you can tell who doesn't have experience at the game with the way they play.
I just don't want to discourage people off this game.

MMR is definitely not switched on, it might very well still be data collecting in the background but it's not used for matchmaking at all at the moment.

I'm just unlucky, like I said above I don't want to discourage people from playing this game, I want the game to grow more and be more fun for both sides.

Ugh people use that assumption so easily. Ranks matter and don't. There isnt much difference between ranks, but I can assure you that when you compare a rank 1 to a rank 9 there is a difference. I mean of course you know that, but people say ranks dont matter and anyonr can get anywhere but I didnt make it to red ranks for a while and I played immersed and only started getting good actually around purple ranks and red. So I agree ranks dont matter at points but in a comparison between ranks and getting matches with low ranks they do.
