Crossplay Leaking in? Am I at risk?

My Crossplay is turned off but Crossplay players somehow joined the trial.

I got the 3K but one messaged me that I will be banned permenently and "Get suspended" followed by harsh language.

Id brush it off as petty threats because I get the on the daily as a Rank 1 Killer but the crossplay players slipping in got me worried. Is there currently an issue with hackers slipping into console only lobbies and banning accounts?

I thought the same thing.

the last time this happened I was given a "Time out" and the swf group turned off my internet and messaged me my home address. Spooky Stuff.

id love to go back to being unaware to what information can be obtained and tampered with but its worth asking if I do need to take steps to protect my account.

The fact they messaged you means they are windows store not console.

Windows store users I think are either not affected or less affected because they are essentially also PC players, so I think they are treated differently by the system.

I've heard about PC players who got into console lobbys before crossplay was a thing, so it's definitely possible.

But I've also experienced that the game said someone was a crossplayer (had the symbol infront of their names) when they weren't (one time I had the symbol myself), so it might just be a bug and their threat is just a lie.

I would also guess it’s a bug with the Crossplay symbol. Have seen it before on my friends profile name and they definitely were on the same platform as me.
