As someone who plays both sides equally
I'm just gonna get straight to the point. Both sides complain WAY too much. Most of this complaining comes from OP perks and items on both sides. Before any of you comment anything about how I'm a survivor main or killer main, I'm just going to get this clear. I play both sides equally, and I have around 2k+ hours in this game if that adds to my credibility or whatever.
Both sides complain too much about perks, items, addons, and offerings. Survivors always complain about perks, and addons (and moris) that give killers a significant advantage, and killers always complain about perks and items that give the survivors an advantage. This leads to so many people making comments such as "REMOVE NOED, REMOVE MORIS, REMOVE IRIDESCENT HEAD" as survivors, and "REMOVE DECISIVE STRIKE, REMOVE KEYS, REMOVE DEAD HARD". You see the pattern there? Same mindset, different sides. It's fine to criticize these things, as everything in this world (including this forum post) can be criticized, but it gets painfully annoying when people just complain about them instead of, I don't know, doing something about them. I will admit that Decisive Strike, Keys and Iridescent Head, and Moris all are extremely overpowered and definitely needs to be nerfed due to their lack of counterplay, especially when paired with other perks or items, but most other perks, offerings, and items have some sort of counterplay to them. Exhaustion perks such as sprint burst or dead hard are annoying, but can still be dealt with if you are able to outsmart them in loops. Hex perks require you to sit still for 15 seconds and hold M1 on a totem, wow, so difficult. Those are just a few examples, but most survivor perks are meant to help the survivors escape, and most killer perks are meant to help the killers kill the survivors, that is their purpose. While the survivors definitely have an easier job at completing their objective, it doesn't mean its much harder for killers to accomplish theirs.
What I'm trying to say here is: Stop complaining and asking for perks, items, and offerings to be removed. I encourage you to critique these mechanics and suggest your own solutions to them, but stop complaining about them and expecting people to agree with you just because you said "REMOVE DECISIVE STRIKE" or "REMOVE NOED". You will instead be laughed at and probably shunned, trust me, I've seen it happen in multiple discord servers. I'm not going to say this has never happened to me, it's happened to everyone. However, I have started critiquing these mechanics and offering up my own solutions to the issues rather than just complain about them. If something is bugged or broken, I either laugh at it or just pray to our lord and savior DemoPls that BHVR actually does a pretty good job so far and fixes it. Thank you.

I mean, we need criticism. But this community just gets annoying and unbearably circlejerky at times.
