The concept of healing

Is it just lost on people in solo queues? Do people not understand if you don't heal, especially against the new killer, it's kind of a death sentence? Start healing people when you unhook them guys. If you're not playing in a SWF, it doesn't matter. HEAL YOUR TEAMMATES. Don't be stupid.

You are talking about the people sprint bursting away from the unhooked with We‘ll make it to self-care in the corner?

they are only unhooking you for the points, they don’t play this as a team game (which is a valid strategy btw.. even though pretty dumb)

Well, to be perfectly honest, it's not valid. If you leave your team to die too quickly, you automatically lose. If you let someone die before a gen is even completed, you lose. If you let 3 people die while you were doing gens, you lose. It's not a legitimate strategy, it's a losing one.

I personally prefer to have two health states, so I want to get healed somewhere safe, but I know people have divided feelings about it. Some streamers have made videos telling people to only heal when they absolutely have to and play injured the rest of the time -- which probably works fine if you're good at chase, but I'm not.

My advice is to run self-care all the time. It sucks to sacrifice a perk slot, but I've had too many games where no one will heal me.

With valid I didn’t mean it’s a good strategy but it’s intended to be an option. And there are people out there not seeing this as a team game for the survivors and they want to escape as the only one.

i don’t play like this and don’t like People playing like this, but they are not breaking any game rules with this.

actually you are completely wrong, survivors "win" when their mind tells them "GENS GENS GEEEEENS GENS MORE GENS ALSO GENS AND SOME GENS.....ok maybe a Bit of healing BUT MOSTLY GEEEEEEEEENS"

And that is not making fun of them either, its simply true, slamming gens, getting them all done above almost all else, is the road to escape.

Sure you could heal someone...OR you just do gens, "only 2 left anyway....only 1 left anyway... I have adrenaline".

These are the games were killers preform poorly, those where survivors know the value of gens, they dont have to be skilled, just basic knowledge of the map and pallets and you are fine, heck you can drop every pallet while the rest does gens and you will be fine.

In my experience its the bad survivors who heal when the killers getting looped on the other end of the map that are the clueless ones.

Healing is important against a lot of killer, ranged/stealth killers and Oni/Nurse/Blight. Everyone else you can comfortably just throw on Dead Hard to act as your first health state and jump on a gen.

Scared of some blood? Once I get hit I will stay injured for rest of the match and push those gens

The only time I request heals is when I am dead on hook or need to unhook someone that is getting camped

There’s right and wrong times to heal. If the killer has 3 hooks already, no gens are done...why do you think that is?

Because the survivors are spending all their time healing. As killer, I don’t mind...I can recognize an easy win in the first several minutes to lack of strategy.

Time management is key. Unless you’re on death hook, or the only available survivor to attempt a risky unhook, healing should be your secondary option. The primary, of course, is to get your butt on a gen.

Ah yeah, that reminds me of a Kate a few days ago, that would run away to Selfcare after she got unhooked or picked up from dying state against a perma T3 Myers - she was rank 2 btw...

    Solo queue is always fun...

If I unhook someone and the killer is clearly chasing someone else, I will heal directly under the hook but the amount of ppl that unhook me just to afterwards run to the other side of the map to do a gen thats never been touched before without giving a fck about healing me at all is mind boggling.
