Coup De Grace - The ultimate flex perk
Despite being unnecessarily nerfed from the ptb for no reason, I've managed to find a niche use for this perk.
On killers that almost never rely on an M1 hit to down someone, such as Huntress, Billy, Bubba and Blight, it becomes a good way to force yourself to get good with their powers.
I've found it strangely rewarding when I finish a game and find out that I didn't use a single token. The perk basically becomes a sign of how well you've performed that game with getting 5 tokens and 4 kills being the best possible result.
If you're looking to get better with the aforementioned killers I'd recommend putting this perk on and seeing how many tokens you can get while still being able to win. Post pictures of your results if you can.
My record right now is 3.

I've found it incredibly satisfying to pallet stun a killer while they zoom at me with it.
Edit: also how is it a flex to show that you couldn't defend a single generator?

I am in love with the perk, even the icon is pretty badass.
It does have the NOED factor in that you are like "surprise mfkr" but you can still get it relatively early in the game. I almost never get any value from NOED, but I have from coup de grace. I have mainly been using it on Bubba, who I rarely M1 on. He is strong enough he can use pretty much whatever you want anyways.
I actually use the tokens though; they are pretty good at loops. People give it a lot of smack but I don't think it even uses the token unless the lunge actually crosses into coup de grace territory because I have definitely lunged, gotten a down, and not consumed a token.

This is implying that it's possible to defend all 5 gens every game if you play well. Which is physically impossible.
It's a flex because if you manage to get all 5 tokens and still kill everyone you've won the game and not lunged a single time. Relying solely on your skill with your power to get downs.
