To the survivors? After you man handled them as blight didnt allow a single gen done and I think even killed a baby claudette. (Ignore that claudette bias). But seriously you are emotionally damaged after destroying a team? If I do that as like oni I laugh. "Guess I tunneled 8head."

Thanks it is true though man really did 5 gen as blight a 5 second stun isnt losing him a game. Did I forget he used an addon that recharged all his slams per hit allowing him to be extremely aggressive?

Funny enough, the less of any perk you use, the less reliant you become on the perk.
Instead you play more thoughtfully, carefully, and much more optimal.
Your not forced to run anything, but could you have played differently or better?

It happened again on mount Ormond resort, I hooked a survivor, then two of their teammates (no they weren't slugged each one was chased and downed then hooked individually) then they came across the map to save injured I went after the unhooked and got dsed for playing the game too fast and tunneling the entire team I guess.

I’m in red ranks and there’s tons of tunneling slugging and camping. I don’t get why some people insist there isn’t that much. It’s like 3 quarters of all the games.

Are you soloq or with friends? I never run ds in soloqueue: if I feel like I'd need it, that's a game I don't want to be in to begin with, so I just get out.
If you're with friends its anotehr thing, cause ofc you don't want to be forced to wait for them

I think ds is to strong but its a pretty useful perk to keep normal but we do need a anti Tunnelling perk but other than that it ds isn't that bad cause some people don't even carry it so its not a pain like that

So since you are complaining about not being able to play the game too fast how do you feel about gen rushing. Better yet would you feel good having the game end in 5 minutes because it goes both ways no body wants 5 minute games.

Ok that's fair. So I have two questions did you win and why did you pick up a survivor knowing damn well you downed the one prior really fast. If you hooked a survivor,notice them get unhooked, then notice you have a fast down why pick them up again?

That's a problem with farming.
You should really tell the teammate in question not to do that rather than blame the killer

You are absolutely correct, a 5 second stun is literally nothing when you're dominating at 5 gens.
They have no room to complain.
And yes, Alchemist Ring is extremely overpowered, it has 0 downsides.

because I physically downed them and hooked them last about 90 seconds ago and not only was there team devoted to gens it also took 2 teammates on hook with a 3rd on the way for them to even start playing altruistic and still being punished by survivors playing that way

They know if they f up with DS rework, gg game.
So the people who desperately want DS to be nerfed, don't expect much.
I think DS is gonna be stronger. If the timer pauses in chase, tunneling killers will pay the price, and this time harder than before.

If you did it 90 seconds ago DS would be gone. If they let their team get close to death before altruism as blight thats a free win I'm gonna be honest with you. You have insane map mobility and with your skips you should be ending chases quickly.
Also this is entirely subjective but I find intense games fun. Would you rather that be a cake walk than a hard game? I dont really understand when people complain about survivors getting gens. If you acknowledge both you and the survs were playing fast why seem down about it?

It was a bad example on his part not to talk about a game he destroyed in with good addons. Alchemist ring is litterally a better iri flesh because of how blight works. And it has less rarity so it's easier to stock pile.

I like how people come here saying they would like ds to be fair. If it was any fair, it would work for both hook stages, as tunneling can happen twice in a game for each survivor. Would you people really want ds to be *fair*?
Also, locker ds is fine: it prevents first hook mori. Or at least delays it.

It's sad, most Killers don't respect the DS or just tunnel people, so bringing it is a necessity.
On the other hand, when I play Killer, I'll actively not tunnel and never have a problem dealing with DS, unless its the rare situation of getting DS at 59 seconds when I hooked two other people.

Is that a fact? I am a Red Rank Killer and I always take note of the builds of the Survivors at the end. I find a lot of variety beyond that list in the builds, and often in the groups that beat me. Adrenaline only matters if we get to the endgame, and I work to prevent that. Borrowed Time doesn't matter to me at all because I want people unhooked safely, so I can hook them again for points. I'm far more likely to hit the unhooker. Dead Hard buys you, at best, a few extra seconds. Unbreakable doesn't matter to me because I rarely slug. Sprint Burst isn't a problem because I keep Generator Pressure up and chases all the time so that they rarely have it on tap.
I'm not saying those Perks are bad, nor that combination ineffective. What I'm saying is your comment about people not running it being a liability is just straight up wrong.

Used DS in one game to get the advent achievement and never again. Red ranks are much better cuz the killer will 8/10 times ignore u if u come off the hook and not be "scummy"

them hopping in a locker, them getting picked up by a nearby hiding teammate, the DS,UB,SB combo ect

Didnt you say they unhooked in your face how did they hop in a locker then? If they are doing a 1 for one you hit the unhooked and slug. Then go for the other. Might as well eat their DS since you have a slug and can tunnel them later. Also now its soul gaurd? Even with he new totem meta I hardly see it.

this is every game with toxic DS survivors all roads lead to DS and/or losing
1.healthy survivor goes for unhook in my face
2.i injure healthy survivor and they use speed boost to get away after they finish unhooking
3.newly unhooked survivor works on gen 2 feet away from where this is happening
4.a. if i go to hit them when they have bt they get a speed boost to start a new chase
4.b. they dont have bt so they wait by a pallet or at a good fast vault angle and wait for me to start a chase or leave so they can work on a gen
5.a. when i am almost close enough to get a hit and end the chase they jump in a locker to DS and start another chase so i cant slug
5.b if i chase them they vault or drop the pallet and use that distance to get to a jungle gym with a locker to hide there when they lose the chase. if i dont chase them they just sit on the gen
"Didnt you say they unhooked in your face how did they hop in a locker then?" lockers are often close by hooks and with the bt speed boost if they are cocky they can always get to a locker. also i am recovering from the swing i just took on the unhooker. you got to take pressure where u can.
"Might as well eat their DS since you have a slug and can tunnel them later." a killer's time is 4xs more valuable than a survivors a 5 sec stun +another 20 seconds to catch up assuming no vaults or pallets. 20+5=25*4=100 seconds of gen time a gen takes 80 seconds if you do this once good survivors will win ever time if you do it twice any team with a heartbeat will beat you. i would rather chase someone else and watch for mistakes out of the corner of my eye.

Even with he new totem meta I hardly see it." what does the totem meta have to do with anything? yeah now its soul guard. the killer counter to DS is slugging, survivor counter to slugging is UB, killer counter to UB is hitting them right as they get up, survivor counter to getting hit after recovering is SG.

all of this is canceled because unless they have resilience or desperate measures if you hit then during the unhook animation they have to start over. Giving you ample time to hit the unhooked and get a new hook. But remember ds,ub,sg. Most likely dh right? So they wouldnt have those in their perks. It would be a hook trade. Also you could maybe even get a grab.
Once again I'm not saying your lying but under the circumstances it doesnt make you believable with how specific this is.

Lol if it was actually effective at dealing with tunneling, I'm in favor of every change in the book. However what people want to do is gut the perk, make it even less effective than it already is and basically make it much easier for The Killer to tunnel. This is all under the guise that some killers get hit with it despite not tunneling, but no one wants to talk about the fact that killers can easily circumvent the perk altogether even when they're tunneling. Not to mention the fact that you can be tunneled twice yet the perk is limited to one time only. It's already easy to circumvent and bypass, and people want to make changes that make it even easier to do so. So yes eliminate all of the possibilities outside of being tunneled but then it has to be effective at being anti tunnel.

You want to know what else is fun? When for no reason the killer decides to focus exclusively on you and as soon as you get unhooked, they go after you ferociously. And because you went down at the 59 second mark, the perk that is supposed to deal with this issue no longer works. Or when you've been tunneled on your first hook and you were forced to use DS then, and on your second hook the killer knows this and instantly downs you and instantly puts you right back on the hook! Or the killer anticipates DS and slugs you for the duration of the timer, or my favorite they down you but don't care and still pick you up and they still tunnel thereafter! Killers really go out of their way to circumvent and bypass DS especially when they are actually tunneling so I understand why some survivors go out of their way to get some utility out of a one-time use perk with a list of activation conditions. I play killer in red rank and I know there are some cases where people abuse it, but on the other hand there are a lot of cases where survivors get zero utility out of a perk to provide some relief to being tunnelled. so for me the solution is not to gut the perk and make it even easier for us killers to tunnel, it just needs to be more effective and narrowly tailored to fulfill the stated goal of being anti tunnel. in my opinion, the current iteration does not do an effective job of that.

i want deactivation conditions: if you touch a gen, heal yourself or someone else, touch a totem, or the killer hooks someone else it turns off
if you think this is gutting we can add buffs too like : double triple or infinite time limit, can activate twice, no skill check, double stun time ect.

I mean it's true though. If they unhook in front of you it's a 1 for 1. there is no way to physically not down either unless desperate measures,bt, and dead hard in play. So explain how you couldnt get one down and how everyone made it to the lockers and magically has ds,ub, and sg. Doesnt sound realistic does it.

To be fair its mostly an excuse to pour my anger into something small so I don't need to bottle up as much, its pretty good for stress to just find something to release your anger on (not real people or animals) so fixating on this one thing is effectively a form of stress relief

how can I get too stressed I play a killer at a point in their skill ceiling where I roll every team I run across, all I have to worry about now is having fun while doing it, which isn't hard when you can go for epic 180 degree hits

Im also working on new tech for blight right now, not too good at it yet but enough playing around with it and I would become even more deadly

well its currently in the works but I want to find a way to replicate and use backwards/sideways rushes in a chase, mostly because it can allow you to turn corners and effectively make un rushable areas rushable, for example at killers shack, from any corner you should be able to rush over to the opposite corner (diagonally) on the outside of the building in 1 rush (it only works with chain rushes so I'm still counting it as one)
