Are Premonition and Spine Chill the same perk?
One of the devs in the Q&A talked about perks being similar but being functionally different like pop and oppression or undying and thrill of the hunt, but spine chill and premonition seem to do the same exact thing, except spine chill makes you faster in basically every action while active, and it has no cooldown. Do you guys think maybe premonition will get a rework or something? Or is there something that really sets them apart that I’m missing?

I mean they are technically different still in some ways so even though it's a far worse perk they will use that as the reason and just say it's fine for its niche purposes and then never buff it.
I mean we had a perk that was almost useful but overall wasn't and they nerfed that in less than a week; and it wasn't even strong before then it was just almost maybe possibly useful for certain purposes.

Premonition is when you're looking at the killer, Spine Chill is when the killer is looking at you so that's how they're different
Premonition also has a 30 sec cooldown with no speed boost so I think it could do with a buff

Yeah I suppose that’s true, but I feel like most survivors will look around as they’re playing, so functionally they don’t really differ much.

Premonition is what you run as a solo survivor if you don't have spine chill. While premo' isn't bad, spine chill trumps it easily. more info and a slight speed boost.

Exactly, that’s really my point. I don’t think anyone would choose to run Premonition over Spine Chill because they essentially do the same thing, with one clearly being better than the other. It’s uh...weird considering they want perks to be unique.

Spine chill > premonition
Premonition is like spine chill but with a cooldown and weaker. Besides, spine chill can be combined with resilience for vault speed especially with other buffs too.

you can turn your brain off with spine chill; that's the main difference
