I kinda like the map reworks

Playing both sides, I actually think they've been doing a good job with the map reworks. Not great, but not bad. Ormond might be a little too tuned to killer now and there's some really weird RNG decisions with dead zones, but those were the roughest edges I found. Totems also occasionally spawn in way too open areas, especially on the hills in autohaven and macmillan.

The looks of the maps are also fine. In fact I really like the Autohaven look (reminds me of fallout 3 in a way). Macmillan looks great, though I wish it kept the blue hue if only make it more subtle than before (the hue is more gray now).

I don't find the breakable walls... bad? I know for the most part which ones to break and which ones not to break. I wish they were more involved, like instead of them just being there, you could instead make it so survivors could build the breakable walls on any doorway with a hammer, nails, and boards next to it. It'd be like a secondary objective for survivors that'd add to engagement (but it'd be better if they don't allow you to do this to EVERY doorway, just whatever the map RNG decides to spawn the hammer/nails/boards at).

Yamaoka and Badham look neat, but I do wish they differentiate their looks more. They both have the same time of day.

All in all I made this post because I'm way to negative and wanted to highlight SOMETHING that I liked about in regards to recent changes. I would also like to see new maps soon (maybe not more indoor maps). While I still provided some criticism, gotta give some credit.

Huh people think Ormond is killer sided? That map is still amazing for survivors lmao. Anyone who complains about 'dead zones' in that map doesn't know how to manage distance and only knows how to drop pallet left and right.

Also still haven't fixed the dumb spawn in the middle of suffocation pit, I still got obnoxious window set up in that map that you HAVE to give up on the chase if they run there which they can from anywhere in the map.

I haven't played new Ormond enough as killer yet (I've got it like maybe twice and keep getting Autohaven and Macmillan), but I feel like it's much easier to down survivors than it was before (could also be because scratch marks and auras aren't half faded like they were before).

The main building is still strong but... not as much? Still feels better than it did before I think.
