Nurse on Console

Hi! I'm a nurse main on ps4, and I was wondering if anyone has any tips on how to improve? I feel like my hits never land when they should, even though the survivor is right in front of me

I, unfortunately, cannot offer any advice. There are very few Console Nurse mains.

On Xbox, there is a Nurse whom me and my friends refer to as the "Red Dress Nurse." We all fear the Red Dress Nurse.

Charge your lunge a little before landing your blink.

You just have to practice and take the losses. Every legendary nurse has lost hundreds of games before they got gud.

I wouldn't recommend this unless you know you won't land on top of them since if you start charging you can't lunge.

On console if you land on top of a survivor and try blinking on them again it is extremely hard and disorienting at times.

I play a fair amount of nurse (ps4), and I can hopefully help a bit. Obviously fps is pretty crap, and the most difficult part of this for me is landing a hit when I blink right on top of the survivor. This is tough because you can't really spin around to find them, the frames are not good enough, so its more of a guess. To fix this, set your first blink up to be within range of second blink, then use that second blink to land just behind the survivor. This does a few things. 1) makes the hit a lot easier to get with low frames. (2 if they double back you'll catch them out for hopefully an easy hit. Point being, blink just behind survivors, not into them, it's easier to land the hit with low frames.

Don't go for too many predictions, as this will lose you a ton of distance.

If your sensitivity is high enough, when you're going for a max range blink flick your right stick upwards. You will see someone with a mouse flick their screen upwards as they release the blink, this allow them to get the most value out of the blink.

Don't be upset when you lose, nurse is very difficult on console, and you will lose many, many games in the learning process.

Learn your lunge distance, try to get out of the habit of swinging too often, if they seem out of range, the fatigue without swinging is shorter, so its best to just fatigue.

One personal bad habit I have is immediately charging my second blink after landing my first, this prevents me from getting a hit if someone doubles back into me.

At least give shadowborn a try, a personally like it, but its not for everyone.

Hope this helps at least a bit :)

I play quite a bit of nurse on PS4. Like the above poster mentioned, the frames just aren’t good enough when doing very fast turns. That being said, I would suggest putting sensitivity to max as it really helps turn speed, and also shadowborn helps a lot. The max sensitivity takes getting use to, but it’s damn near needed.

They are correct about the missed swing after a blink it takes even more time to recover, during which LOS is usually lost.

I gave up on her long ago on Xbox after hours & hours of no kills and few hits, and apparently before the bug infestation. I vividly remember the big boat in the Swamps being a nightmare, and Lery's and Gideon both soul crushing. I pray you find more success.
