The double standard of the internet.
I have to put this somewhere and this is the one place I could think of that doesn't have a low character limit.
I've just been hit with the good old double standard that the internet has and been insulted, told lies about myself and blocked on social media. Not a big deal in the long run but. The double standard it what hurts.
It's okay for some people to go on and on about a topic for weeks on end that really doesn't matter but they can say what they want, however if someone disagrees with them, oh they're rude and a jerk and homophobic and not "comfortable with gay relationships." and you should just stay in your lane and shut up if you don't like it. but these people who don't like something can say whatever they want and complain for weeks on end with impunity.
This is why I'm worried when people make topics about a LGBT character in DBD. because the same thing happens here. no matter what anyone says on this topic if the OP or anyone doesn't like it they attack. I'm using that example because it fits closest to the situation I was in.
I'm not going to loose sleep over it but why can't people talk out their differences anymore? If you disagree with someone why not ask them about it rather then oh you're dick, blocked.

It really depends on what you said dude, like... from what you've described it sounds like you saw a drawing of Dwight and David kissing and went "why do gay people have to put this in your face, I'm okay with them as long as they don't bother me with their existence" and then got called out for being homophobic.
If you're not homophobic I don't see why a LGBT character being added to the game would bother you.

It was a long time ago at this point but what I said was why are people inventing things that aren't there. It's different if someone creates it. that doesn't bother me it's the attitude that does. It would be like someone made the picture you mentioned and then said, "That's how it's it's canon its real and then started taking innocent actions made by the characters to back it up. Then if people didn't believe or it wasn't given validation they were being suppressed
That's what I mean.
If they make an LGBT character I don't care it's the attitude of the HAVE to make one. it's their choice.
