Thinking about Switching to Survivor
Playing the killer is wearing on me.
People T-Bagging constantly, waiting at the exit till the very last second to waste time, the trash talk at the end, being told to kill myself, it really wears ya down. Thinking about switching to survivor so I can get a break from it.

I say you should play survivor anyway, as it makes you a better killer, and vice versa.

I rarely go to the exit gate at the end of the game. I'll go round and try and find hatch, doors to break, pallets to smash etc for some extra points. I know they are most likely there waiting for me to chase them out. I just see it as a chance to up my score a bit. Can make the difference between a pip down or a pip up.

I do this lol. Still I would prefer just to move onto the next game. It gets to the point where I've broken the pallets so I just switch to youtube and watch something till they finally decide to leave.

That seems a good idea too. Turns it into them wasting their own time and not yours. I know what you mean though.

You don’t even have to Main one side..
just play whichever role you currently want to play. Or take a break from the game.
please report those that write such things in end game chat for verbal harassment though!

I did actually. I made a post about it on here too. But the post was taken down and I was given a warning. I put in a ticket a few weeks ago but never heard back about it again. My brother warned me that they really don't care about the complaints and honestly I'm starting to believe him.

No, it’s just that a simple report with the button in end game is enough, the chat log will automatically be saved.
so the additional player report was not necessary and you won’t get any info anyways
posting it on the forums is against the rules because of ‚naming and shaming‘ (think about if there is another person with same name tag and they get harassed because some people saw your post)

I didn't leave an in game report. I couldn't find the report button because its invisible. People were nice enough to point it out. But that was after the fact. So I put in a ticket.

The reporting system could really be more user-friendly, had my problems as well (and still do)
but especially with stuff like you posted they are taking it seriously

Unfortunately I'm just a bit pessimistic is all on the topic. But that's probably just from being worn down. I see a lot of toxic people when I play. I picked killer because I understand there's a real shortage of them. A lot of people prefer to play survivor. So I thought I would fill that gap. The way they treat you would make you think they don't /want/ you to play killer.

Yeah I get that.
playing survivor, more so when you play solo, can feel samey though.
many killers are complaining about four man red rank swf on comms that can loop you but once they see someone that’s not so good, that one will have the worst time of their life.
you gotta focus and the positiv matches and even in bad matches try to have fun and improve. The balance is despite what many say at the best it ever was (well.. not counting the disastrous latest chapter release.. but both sides are pretty buggy).

It’ll be funny once the need for bot killers forces their introduction To the game. Then these toxic survivors end up unknowingly wasting their own time at the gates waiting for a machine to walk by. I just hope there’s some indication afterward that it WAS a bot so that they can feel foolish about it.

That would be nice actually. I mean just the concept of bot killers. Would help reduce wait times for survivors too.

I’ve gotta say, it’s very possible. Already very effective on DBD Mobile. You can’t tell them apart from real players, just that they have a score of 0 post-match. I really don’t understand the hesitation in implementing this.

I think they worry it would take something away from the game. I think some survivors would get really annoyed thinking they were doing really well in a match, only to find out they were playing against a bot. There's more excitement for some players knowing they've outsmarted another person. Particularly at higher ranks. I imagine there's quite a thrill when a player plays against a well known player and wins.
However, I think killers need a break. A chance to just go play survivor, but not have to wait 10 minutes in a que.Make it optional. Have an option in the settings where you can pick human, bot, or both. Honestly a lot of times when I'm wanting to try out a build or a new character, I would prefer an AI match before I bring it into the real thing. Or practice looping and not get trash talked in the end.

play both, sometimes I play killer for weeks and then for some time survivor then back to killer, just have fun :)
