Unreal Epic Launcher?
Unreal Engine By Epic Games HAS A STOREFRONT WITH A MUCH BETTER REVENUE SPLIT FOR DEVELOPERS THAN STEAM.
STEAM STORE'S REVENUE SPLIT:
70% for Devs and 30% for Steam
EPIC GAMES STORE'S REVENUE SPLIT:
88% for Devs and 12% for Epic Games
Additionally, since Dead by Daylight uses the Unreal Engine, Behavior pays a 5% royalty for it, however with the Epic Games Store, this would be covered in the 12% for Epic Games.
MAKING THE ACTUAL REVENUE SPLIT WHEN ON STEAM:
65% for Behavior, 30% for Steam, and 5% for Unreal Engine when on the Steam Store
AS OPPOSED TO WHEN ON EPIC GAMES:
88% for Behavior and 12% for Epic Games when on the Epic Games Store
While there are obvious pros and cons for switching storefronts, it seems like there is great incentive to move onto the Epic Games Store.
Moving would result in a 23% increase in retained revenue, so despite a possible decrease in total units sold, it could alleviate the difference.
Furthermore current and future DLCs with Dead by Daylight's already established player base would produce much more revenue for Behavior.
(This is a revival of a two year old post that never got answers as to whether it would be released for Epic Games.)
My question (obviously adding to this post) is "Will this ever happen?" I am a huge supporter or Epic Games more than I am of Steams platform. I own over a hundred titles on epic not including the free games they give away. Would love this game to be supported there where I have many friends (Epic has friends like steam).
UPDATE: They added this game to Epic Games Launcher. <3

This
The only reason I use Epic is to pick up the free games they give away. Steam has been around much longer and will be there much longer. Its the default platform that everyone is used to. Just like people use Twitch over Mixer (is Mixer even still at thing?)

Mixer is gone actually.

I'd say I hope not due to fear it will become free like ark gta and other games I bought and get a huge increase in cheaters.. But it was already free for limited time on steam and european servers r currently infested with survivor cheaters anyway.
I'm pro epic though, I like the simple design I use it for a few games.

You realize in order for games to become "free" on epic game launcher the companies have to give Epic Games permission and they don't do that for free. Epic has to pay royalty licenses on each copy they give out for free. It's not really free. Epic Games just loves their fan base and pays for games to be given out free,
