What is Devotion?
Why did my player level automatically reset? It should be a choice, but whatever.
What do you get for devotion lvl 1?

It's just the game's way of saying what level you are. For every 1 devotion, that's 100 levels. It makes it easier on their system to reset it to "level 1" like that so it can recycle it's way of rewarding Iridescent Shards and levels per amount of XP. That's all, no extra rewards or anything.

Iri shards how? I keep seeing some XP to Iri shards stuff when I Google devotion. Have they mathed that out yet?

I basically meant it as you get shards just from leveling up. The specific level 1 of Devotion doesn't grant anything, you can honestly just forget it even exists. It's just a counter for how much you play, basically.

Why is it terrible? Nobody can see your account level but you and even if they could, some basic math tells you how many levels you've gone through. The earlier levels have smaller rewards but they take less XP to get so it's not like you're being cheated out of shards

I feel cheated out of a reward. Even 5% more BP would be acceptable but nothing?
"Hey congrats on your 2,000 hours, here's a shiny green number"

It isn't a reward for reaching high levels, it's just like prestiging a character. Instead of seeing level 683 you see devotion 6 lvl83. It is just a visual thing.

It's just so people don't end up with 4 or 5 digit levels. Easier to read, nothing more.

Your reward is you reached level 100, the next reward will be at level 101, then 102... etc.
