Rank reset is stupid. Why punish returning players?

I was red rank and then took a break only logging once every few weeks and now I'm rank 16.

It's legit not fun being matched with level 15-20 players.

    because when you are not playing for multiple months it would be a very unfair matchup to have you go up against people that have been playing on a daily basis.

    you would just get beaten and bullied over and over again, so your rank slowly decreases when you dont play in order to allow you to play with people who eigther didnt play for some time themselves / newer people who arent that great at the game yet.

    its not a punishment, its ment to make the game more fair for you.

    Why are you complaining? It should take you all of two days to hit the Red Ranks again, a nice easy slide back into things.

    Because new content is being released all the time and you’d return after a break of several months with no idea about any of it. Plus you get rusty after a long break.

    It’s not about “punishing” anyone, it’s about easing people back into the game. It’s not like it’s hard to rank up, just play and you’ll go back to red ranks in no time.
