The Holiday Event I Wish We Had:

From the first of December (11am EST) to the second of January (11am EST) this event would be active.

During the entire event except Christmas week, all public matches grant double blood points. On Christmas week, public matches grant triple blood points and double experience. Every day during the event, players also get login rewards ranging from 50,000 blood points to 9,000 iridescent shards or some combination (ex: Day 1=50,000 BP, Day 2=25,000 BP and 3,000 IS, Day 3=9,000 IS, etc.), these numbers can be tweaked to be useful but not game breaking.

During public matches, an additional 2 dull totems spawn that have sleigh bells on them, cleansing these totems grant 500 bp to the objective category, the normal boldness bp score, and a new currency sleigh bells (likely 10 sb per totem cleansed).

Using sleigh bells, the sweater cosmetics and various new winter/holiday themed items can be purchased (ie. charms/cosmetics/etc).

From December 1st till January 2nd, mystery item boxes are half priced and more frequent in the blood webs of both killer and survivor.

All of this may seem over the top, it would have brought more excitement and “engaged” players to DBD for the winter season. At least some of these ideas are good and should have been part of this year’s event.
