What's your definition of being "sweaty"?

Whether it's Killer or Survivor( s), how would you define them playing sweaty compared to other playstyles?

There’s no way survivors are running around a late afternoon Glenvale desert in sweaters and jeans without generating some good, soggy perspiration... jus sayin’

I define being sweaty as being covered in sweat, perhaps just in from a run or a trip to the gym. In regards to this game, there is no such thing as "sweaty" anymore than there is a "toxic" or "try-hard" or whatever the passive aggressive, manipulative term of the day happens to be. This is a game, a PvP game to be exact, where you play within the rules to win. That's it. Nothing anyone does within the rules is out of the ordinary, excessive, or problematic. The only terms that matter (which are real) are good sportsmanship and bad sportsmanship. All you have to do to be a good sport is:

    1. Don't cheat, either by hack or lag spikes.
    2. Don't disconnect; if you start a game, finish it.
    3. Be humble in victory and gracious in defeat.

There are no other so-called playstyles. You are either playing the game or not. Some people might play better. Some people may simply not be trying that hard. Some people might just be terrible. It doesn't matter. It is all the same game. People make up these idiotic slang terms to try to apply to players and thus try to grief or shame them. This is cowardly, whiny kind of act. It is a type of scapegoating, wherein someone tries to blame their own inadequacies and failures on someone else.

Tunneling hooks when you're a top tier killer that can zip around the map.

Tunneling hooks, proxy camping, and slugging at 5 gens.

Tunneling hooks, proxy camping, camping, slugging or even just plain old tunneling at 5 gens when someone dc's.

Slugging for the 4k to lure me out even though someone DC'd at the start of the match.

Just to clarify good killers will punish mistakes. So if you give them a good reason to do those things especially the slugging then they will do it. If I down someone or see someone else/have infectious. I will chase them. Unless it's not in my benefit.

I'm glad someone said slugging at 5 gens or with a DC, or anything with a DC ( it will IMMEDIATELY place the team at a disadvantage)

Also, could I just add, if a survivor is OBVIOUSLY having a technical issue? (IDK about other platforms but on switch maps like Gideon's and Dead Dawn are EXTREMELY dark vs PC or PS- if I run into a wall I'm not braindead, I legitimately CANNOT see)

Although, that being said, if they purposely go out of their way to be big o'jerks (not doing gens and searching you out to tbag or such) then I, personally, don't think it applies.

Imo? People who only play like, spirit, nurse, freddy or take like iri head hatchet huntress, infantry belt, proxy the hell out of someone on hook lol....

As survivor, the teams with like several tool boxes with new parts, OoO in a full SWF, someone dedicated to flashlight saves and one to sabo, one person with a key.....

I mean, calling them sweaty or tryhards is not an insult imo, if people want to play that way I totally understand and they can; but it's not my cup of tea. The only people I dislike are ones taking OoO, keys, iri hatchets, and I used to hate moris but current ones are fine.

It means you have disgusting smelly aura and no-one likes to be around you. Playing the game like your life depends on it, like chill and have fun. You don't have to be a total jerk.

I have no problem with killers who tunnel toxic survivors. Nor do I have a problem if a killer resorts to tunneling, slugging or camping if they're at 2 gens or less. Game goes by way too fast for most killers to get 12 hooks. I only consider it toxic or sweaty when they do it from the start.

Thankfully, most killers are not like what the survivors on this forum like to portray them as. Yes, I have had my fair share of turds, but for the most part, most are playing for fun, or as someone else mentioned, just punishing bad plays.

I actually have more of an issue with sweaty survivors than I do killers. You know, the sexy shirtless David who is chasing the killer hoping to get a flashlight save when they could be on a gen. I also hate people who tunnel gens when their teammates are on hook and let them get to second stage. At that point, I just let the entity take me.

I don't have a problem with killers punishing mistakes, especially if it is against good players. But if it is obvious that you're going against potatoes, there is no need to go all out. I am not telling others how to play, it's just my opinion and how I play.

It just gets more annoying when there is a dc or suicide on first hook, the killer has the match, there isn't a need to break a chase or turn around even though they see someone else right in front of them, just to go back to the freshly unhooked person.
