Why DC against Hag?
So I played six Hag games today and in three of these people just DC early game. One game had the whole team DC as soon as they understood it was Hag time, guess they were SWF. In the two other games one survivor DC and then the rest of the team more or less gave up, hook suicide or just messing around.
Now I mostly play survivor and I really like going against Hag instead of the normal looping games which are mostly same things over and over. Hag should bring joy to survivors what is the problem really?

Tofu explains it good:
In general, I think way more people would complain about Hag if she would have been played more frequently. But she is also not that much fun to play IMO, since you cant chase with her.

Lazy survivors want easy games and don't know how to adapt. Nothing new under the sun

What is fun about a game when 99.9% of Hag player play the same way? Chase someone for 2-3 gens, hook him, place 10 traps around hooked person and then just proxy camp in case traps dont get triggered when someone goes for the unhook, instantly be back on hook to down one of the 2 survivors, hook him - rinse and repeat.

The problem is you very very very rarely face a hag so most people are very inexperienced playing against her.
There's also the fact that most of time the hag you are playing against is pretty bad aswell and usually just camps the first person with like 20 traps around them.

I just took up mainig Hag. And having really fun. Hag is unique because she might be the only killer were you can chill with gens going off. And know it just takes one hook to end it. When I hook someone I'll place one trap. Just one. And wait for someone to run and not crouch. Which is what survivors don't like you need to be patient with a hag. And yes a no trap Hag/ bad Hag is a nuisance since you know after looping her for five gens she'll have Noed and place all her traps around the hook.

You go around, step just a bit too close to a ######### small triangle on the ground you probably couldn't even see and you already know the bastard just got a free hit. Wow, so much fun, epic gameplay.
Would much rather just die and get to a potentially good game instead of the trap and basement torture that hag rounds are

It's a speed based game and nobody runs urban so games go to a crawl. I'm not one that DCs against hag (or any killer) but I can see why they do.

Perfect summation in that clip. Honestly it's a shame Hag is so unpopular since that means she probably won't see any balance updates anytime soon.

Because a lot of hag players are inexperienced as her so resort to scummy strategies. I play all killers and hag is honestly one of my favorites. She's a set up killer like trapper but with way more versitility. You have to be patient against her and it's worth the time to crouch and check common trap spots like around pallets and windows. The best counter to hag is figuring out where her traps are and either disarming them(by flashlight or triggering them then running away) or avoiding them entirely. It's also a good idea to run to gens or other locations while she is carrying a survivor as she can't teleport. A good hag is very efficient with her traps and knows how to make survivors hit her traps. Unique pathing is the best way to loop a hag. That and to leave trapped tiles. Hag chases tend to be short so it's crucial your team is on gens all the time.

Survivors will DC if you pose a challenge to them.

Most Hags provide the most miserable and most frustrating experience in a match (usually).
I won’t DC, but on my first hook if the Hag starts spamming traps around the hook, I just suicide. There’s literally no point continuing because that Hag is guaranteeing I don’t get to continue playing the game anyway.

?!??
Oh that’s right, I forgot about the “crouch walk faster away from the hook button before Hag runs back” button, and the secret mid match menu that lets you swap out one of my perks to Urban Evasion.
Thanks for the tip. I’ve adapted now.

It’s exactly why I think she’s been under the radar so long. If she were Spirit/Freddy levels of popularity, Hag would have had changes LONG LONG ago.
I still stand by my thoughts that’s she is the worst designed killer in the game. She provides a miserable, hopeless experience to most survivors, but at the opposite end of the spectrum she is far too neutered by flashlights. How can we have a killer that is so hopeless to go against without one item, yet be rendered so damn powerless by just that one same item?! It’s ludicrous.

If you play hag you will know how to counter her. If you think you need a perk to counter her, you playing wrong

I think you completely misunderstood my concern with your original comment, and are still not addressing the fact that there is very little solo survivors can do against a Hag if there are no flashlights, especially a hook trap spamming Hag.

If she's camping, survivors must simply slam gens, same thing as every other killer that camps. And I mailed her, I mostly play solo and I know how to counter her. You need to harass the hag during the game and activate her traps when she's chasing another survivor or carrying them. If you this things, she will be powerless

Did he upload this game to youtube? I never watch the guy but anything to do with Twitch lags a lot for me.
You really are a King sir. Only true royalty would say she is the worst designed killer in the game.
Also I say here a lot I hate Hag so I just want to clarify something. I wasn't in any of your games where survivors DC'ed 😂 I would only ever do that as a meme at like 2am when I'm drinking.
