This has been happening today and yesterday, did they do something to matchmaking or is it cause of too many players?

Something is going on with matchmaking again. Been noticing it extremely the past days.
About 2 weeks ago I lost almost every single killer match. Had multiple 3-4 minute 5 gen matches (even versed Exlelite's tournament team) despite getting quick downs. Fastest game was 3 minute and 8 seconds for all 5 gens.
Now I'm either getting green rank survivors OR red rank survivors that PLAY LIKE green rank survivors resulting in 5 gen 4ks.
Like what the actual -beeep- is going on?

They're probably running localized testing for MMR matchmaking in the background. That would be my guess. They did it the first time on Xbox, iirc.
UBK is no joke. You can run Ruin/Devour Hope against them, though. They're way too paranoid of Haunted Grounds and they don't cleanse losing a lot of gen progress. However, if you're on a low mobility killer you might as well go chill in the corner of the map anyway.

Mobility is actually the reason I got stomped that hard - to some extent at least. They kept popping gens while I was on my way go said gens but I just couldn't get there physically in time. Made me realize why high level players usually stick to Spirit/Nurse.
If I happen to face them again I sure hope I'll be playing my main. Bubba may have no mobility either but at least I can play him at 100% of hia potential unlike Pyramid Head. I'm decent as Pyramid but I'm not @GoodBoyKaru
I was stupid enough to play with no slowdown (other than Corrupt), too.
After the match I gave them a follow and also noticed they're pretty much ignoring everything including hex totems unless the hex effect really gets in their way. Other than that they're just always on gens no matter what.
They're really strong survivors. Imagine if all people played like that.
