Dumb Idea but what do you think?
So we have killers complaining about SWFs and the latter and survivors wishing queue time would be shorter. Hear me out though. Below you will see the average DBD player in the wild.
I think we can all agree that were in it for the BP above all else. Don't we all have some perks to unlock, items to obtain, and addons to hoard? Now here's what I'm suggesting. Once you hit rank 10 for killer. You can opt in a special queue against SWFs. Note that this isn't a separate queue it just puts you higher on the priority if no one else is against teams of 3+ in public matches. So even if NO ONE queues up it'll go back to the normal matchmaking BHVR has now. The catch is when signing up for these queues the killer gets 4x the bloodpoints earned in the match. So even if they managed to get 1 hook. They could still possibly earn massive amounts of bloodpoints as if they hooked all 4 during the trail, or even more if they managed to get them all. This has a cooldown of 30 minutes and once you opt in you can't opt out for the next hour or so. If you didn't opt in you only get x2 the BP. Then cap how much bonus BP you can earn. So that Killers can't get the x4 and then stack survivor pudding/etc. I'd make it where if you opt in you can't select offerings that increase awarded BP. While BBQ and Chili are affected by the x4 bonus BP cap.
I think this might be more enticing than rank so that even if you lose. Those players don't feel so bad while ensuring that if they do opt in. And that I'd rather take a huge amount of BP than going up in rank. Some people solely run BBQ and Chili just for the bonus BP. Even if they lose. They can't just do it for the 4x BP and then dip out. While also encourage maybe the odd survivor to try out killer here and there to help out with the grind and maybe convert them to the darkside. It can cause the lobbies to have more sweaty killers and I know not all SWFs are super hardcore MLG PRO tournament level speedrunner optimal survivors, but it could help alleviate queue times possibly. As people are more willing to play killer, while not shifting the entire playerbase to be onesided and causing the whole issue again. And Killers can't complain because they get a huge ass bloodpoint boost! It may even entice them to keep trying to garner as much BP as possible! Anyways curious if this is a bad idea. I'm afraid people might abuse this (Whether for the 4x BP or those damn face campers!) or it won't do much to help out the problem or if the problem still exists. I've started to pick up DBD again so I can't say I know much with the state of the game.
Solution for face camping in these situations. Hooking the same survivor within 24 meters of you three times in a row and single hook sacrifices not by suicide (The full duration of struggle phase must play through) while you are 24 meters nearby for at least half of the total hook time during x4 BP take -50% of total earned BP each time. You face camp 2 survivors you lose -100% of total BP earned. This is one of the problems, and probably one of the main reasons why it might not be implemented. Especially because people can do so out of spite on either side.
-PS. Dear BHVR
Yo, got any more of dos Double BP events?

Why don't we just double the BP earned by both sides...this is needlessly complicated and doesn't even consider survivors, which is the role where we actually need a BP gain increase, killer BP is fine.

I was thinking about that too where survivors get a bonus as well, but you have to remember as a survivor. You have 3 allies that can support you and with SWFs you can almost guarantee a decent amount of BP (10k-20k) unless the killer is running things like iri huntress, etc. The killer has to play around all 4 of them. The idea is if you do play terribly against SWFs at least it rewards you for not giving up and ensuring people don't farm. At least when things like Double BP and when ghastly gateau was being given, we (survivor) or I (as killer) would sometimes find killers/survivors to farm hits and chases, etc. for points. Hence the CD.

SWF has been the cause for a lot of balance problematics since the beginning, and the game itself may not be at the cause, the biggest problem about it is they are able to talk through Discord or else. It is totally understandable that you want to play with your friends, the problem is it should always be done in private games, which means you'll need 5 players each time you want to play, that could help players to find their way out of the game fast since some refuse to queue alone.
I'll agree on having different queues for casual and ranked games, it would solve the issues about the competitivity AND the absence of training servers. We would have to choose in the lobby between Classic, for any players who wants to just practice and play for fun, and Ranked, applying specific rules to the match to push people to make use of their skills and wants to rank up. To make this still worth, the Ranked system would offer rewards such as more Bloodpoints depending on your actions, but also some exclusive content like the ones you can unlock through the Archives.
And we already have tons of things to boost BP gains in the game : perks, offerings, daily rituals, archives objectives...By boosting freely the BP you gain throughout the matches, you would completely shut down their purpose, it would only cause more controversies.
