Power: Shriek of 1000 Souls

Press the power button to release a loud scream. It acts as a pseudo flash bang. It deafens the survivor for 3 seconds and blinds them for 4.

Perk 1: Power Outage

90 seconds after the gates are opened, they will shut permanently and the hatch will open.

Perk 2: Save Them

For every generator completed, gain a permanent 0.5% increase in speed, and increase lunge distance by 3%.

Perk 3: Give Life

If a survivor is hooked while another survivor is working on a generator at the same time, the entity will lash out and cause the survivor to scream. The generator will also explode, regressing 5%.

Appearance: Withered Freddy

Weapon: Rusty Microphone

If they were to make a FNaF chapter, Springtrap would work far better as a killer in my opinion.

Anything that hinders vision and hearing, or removes every visual and audio cue at the push of a button is a big no-no for the game imo. Just look at Spirit. And Clown's gas can be super irritating. Not to mention corn being a nightmare to see through. (Before anyone says it, flashlights are different, they only hinder your vision for a few seconds, you can still easily track survivors via footsteps and their breathing and injured sounds)

I'm not sure about the 1st perk, that's just a weird effect. Like a reverse bloodwarden or something. Can still be countered by 99ing gates so it probably won't do anything.

The 2nd perk would be ridiculously overpowered. Anything that grants increased movement speed has to have MAJOR downsides to work, or only happens for a short time. An increase of just 6% would be absurdly strong on every killer, and the first 3 gens usually go quickly these days.

The 3rd perk is entirely based on random chance that's also completely out of the survivor's control which is another huge no-no for the game. We don't need any more randomness than we already have. Maybe if it did something else like "all gen repair skillchecks have a 50% chance to be 'old Ruin' skillchecks"? Or a small chance to be an overcharge skillcheck?

    Oh no

I have a feeling this post will garner a lot of negative feedback...

As for the actual ideas, the perks are neat (Though five nights would be a little op) but shriek of souls doesn't seem like it would be particularly effective.

Also, I don't know much about FNaF lore but wouldn't Springtrap be better considering he's the villain or something along those lines?

Think of the power as being flashbanged in cod. You could use it by a loop or trees to mess with someone.

As for the 2nd perk, would one percent be better?

And for the the springtrap question, I've seen a lot of those, so I wanted to come up with something original.

The power outage is supposed to induce panic in survivors to get out, causing them to act erratically in a chase.

Ah, I see. It could work then, though I imagine a lot of people would complain.

The problem with Five Nights isn't exactly the stats, it's the movement speed increase. Movement speed perks are very rare just because of how much they can mess with the games balance. And, Fire Up already increases kicking speed by a larger margin.

    Ah, makes sense.

Super cool idea, neat power, and I love the Power Outage perk. However, the other perks are absolutely busted. 2% movement speed for each gen completed is so insanely strong that that would instantly become a meta perk. And the gen RNG perk would just be not fun to play against and way too inconsistent to be enjoyable by a lot of killer players.

Here's some revisions that I think would make them more fun and balanced while still keeping with the same general idea.

Five Nights: For every gen that is completed, gain a permanent 4/4.5/5% boost to lunge speed, missed attack cooldown, and (I like the kicking speed, but I don't want to just have this be a better Fire Up you know? Maybe gen regression speed or something).

Give Life: The perk charges as survivors work on generators. After 100/90/80 seconds of the survivors repairing generators, the entity lunges at survivors that are on a random generator that is currently being repaired. The generator chosen also creates a loud explosion and regresses by 5%. (Note: Each individual survivor contributes charges to the perk. So if 2 survivors are working on generators at a time, the perk will charge in a total of 40 seconds assuming no one gets on or off a gen).

I may have gone too far with the second one but a gen regression perk titled "Give Life" just has SOOO much potential

I’ve actually thought a FNaF chapter was inevitable. I mean the game is kinda set up for it and the map would be easy to make since it’s basically already there. Inside the pizzeria, various rooms that match the first FNaF game, etc,. So I’m glad to see I’m not the only one thinking about it. Note: I’m not a diehard FNaF fan. But just think it’d be super neat to see that game and DBD collaborate.
