Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Why does Leatherface have infinite super-speed?

Without a pallet very near by, there is absolutely no way to avoid being downed in one hit by Leatherface if he is chasing you with his chainsaw sweep. It lasts FOREVER. Why is this a thing? Why did you guys double down on all the things that make him unpleasant and campy, instead of properly remaking him?

Will u see, ppl complained that leatherface could just rev his chainsaw infinitely until a survivor came by. The devs in their brilliance decided to move that ability of carefully timing the revs to his chase.

There are areas that are tough for leatherface to deal with and you could actually dodge in between the sweeps. I only managed to do it a few times after hearing about it in the forums. Wish there was a practice mode for stuff like this.

Good. It makes him worthy of a “terror” radius. If only more killers were like that. I’m happy that the killer this game was based off is now actually a threat instead of a meme.

The game is supposed to be adult hide and seek, with chasing being the last resort. Not survivor gods run infinite loops while teabagging killer simulator, which it was for most of its early life unless you were nurse or billy.

  • Because if you so much as vault a window he can't do jack all.

He punishes survivors being out of position extremely hard.
