Lagswitching is seriously still a thing?

Was just in a match playing as Spirit on Mother's Dwelling, and the first Claudette I encountered was very clearly lagswitching. DCed not even thirty seconds into the match because I refuse to put up with that.

If you seriously need a cheating device to win a game, you were never good in the first place, and you'll never be the disillusioned gaming God you think you are.

Is there any way to combat this? The Anti-Cheat system clearly isn't capable of handling this.
