Why is jake a survivor And also some others.
This might be kind of dumb but, ill ask anyway.
So, the entity feeds on Hope, right? So characters like Adam or David make sense to get dragged. But how is some 20 year old homeless dude that lives basically at the forest full enough of hope for the entity to go "Yummy"?
I just wondered this today.

Its been answered in Lore,Survivor hopes,that the next time escape they are back home or that they will die next time sacrificed.

Makes sense, but what i mean is why select each specific person. That is where my question was coming from and the other dude already answered me that.
