What's stronger: corrupt purge Plague or blood fury Oni?

Without consideration for the timers of each, meaning if they had their respective abilities for the entire match, who would be stronger?

For my two cents, I'd vote for plague. You can't juke and it just seems that projectiles can have more of an impact, especially if the survivors are already injured, not to mention catching two survivors with one vomit stream. Plus, if you can get two survivors down in quick succession, mobility won't be an issue when they're down two teammates. But hey, I haven't even played Oni for thirty minutes yet.

I should add that no perks or add-ons are assumed.

Corrupt purge is without doubt easier to use but really can't be compared to the absolute speed and lethality of blood fury.

Also the oni definitely has better add-ons to make the ability even stronger

Blood Fury is rather easy to use and comes with a hell of a lot of mobility that more than makes up for the shorter duration. Plague's only stronger if the survivors aren't spread out across the map, which just isn't the case most of the time, and also she gets heavily screwed by robbed hits because her power is kind of bugged.

There is no question that Plague's power is the stronger one here. Probably the strongest in game. There's a reason why survivors do not cleanse when facing the Plague, and why she needs to travel the whole map to pick up her power, and also why it needs to be handed over to her by the survs. There's also very little you can do to counter her power.

Yes, Oni has insane mobility with his power, but you can actually juke, you can use a couple of pallets, a good timed window vault will also save you. Against Plague? Lmao.

If oni had blood fury the entire match no one would survive what so ever

give him whispers to find a survivor early and moniter + infectious and you will have the game end before plague can find their first survivor patroling gens at 115% speed

my mistake then.

I still believe an oni with a power all game can ######### you up harder because he has far higher mobility. you group up he ######### everyone up, you split up, you won't be able to pick each other up fast enough.

with plague you can still stealth her as she approaches at normal speed and she's got visual indicators, some loops are still too tight for her to puke around, hit detection is wonky.
