Back in the days when 4 survivors on the same gen was powerful, that offering had some purpose. Today it's the opposite. 4 people on the same gen is actually good for the killer as opposed to each on their own gen. Anymore than 2 people is just not worth it. The time is better spent finding a different gen.

3K-4K, survivors who rely on stealth are trash looper, but unless you slug the 2 last, i said 3K cause people like that love to camp hatch till the 3rd die.

They were probably on Discord trying to have fun playing hide'n seek I guess.
I've done the same too, it's a very fun thing to do since the generic gameplay of looping/doing gens reaches a point that it's boring, so it's cool to play a "different" game sometimes.
Me and my friends have done this in a Yamaoka with 4 purple mists + stealth builds with pebble to sandbag each other, and the worst the Killer as an Oni xD, but we had so much fun.

I was Trapper, had a lobby of 3 Toolboxes. I was meme build so whatever, if they want to rush Gen, then I drop a pip, I dont mind.
Offering: Increase hook distance. Now I realize 3 Toolboxes were mean to be Sabo tool, not Gen tool.
My meme build was: Agitation, Madgrit, Iron graps, Monstrous shrine
No matter hook down, body block, a hook is a hook. 3K, 1 escape through hatch

I mean you were using one of the strongest add-on combinations in the game, and managed to kill someone really early based on the points. And blendettes are usually horrible at the game so I'm not really surprised you got a 3K.
Still tho, you got the W that's all that counts.

I met 3 kinds of stealth players playing this game at high rank :
- THE BOOSTED : Blendette/Nea mostly, urban evasion (and metas perks in general, like BT, DS, Spine chill, OoO etc) who genrush but cant loop for more than 30s while spending 3-4 pallets meantime when you find them, you recognize them cause they will give you god's pallets so early in the game, almost never SFW or 2 max.
- THE STEALTH TEAMS : Similar perks but they don't do gens as fast cause they have 1 or 2 medium/good loopers to make the killer waste time while the others stick to gens and hide as soon as they hear a TR or Spine chill activate, thats mostly experimented survivors that want to help/carry their boosted friends, you recognize them with the good ones following you and clicky clicky his/their FL or pointing finger at safe distance near strong loops, never follow them and go for weak links, almost alway SFW 3 or 4.
- THE MEMER : Mostly good survivors who want to have fun, no perks or meme perks (peeble, deception etc...), they don't even touch generator and sometimes make noise on purpose and hide close to see if the killer find them, often bring a Yamaoka/Coldwind offering, they don't unhook (they play "tag" like when we were kids, the one that be found last is the winner). Can be fun sometime, I met 2 times hard memer who were all hiding in each corner of the basement, the 1rst time, it take me 5 minutes at least to realize it was the only place they could be since i had made 10+ round of the map^^
