Killer Idea: The Elder
Appearance: A literal eldritch horror. It's weapon would be a tentacle with thorns on it.
Speed: 110% (4.4m/s)
Terror Radius: 24 meters
Height: Tall (Hunched over but is still massive)
Ability: Starlight
The Elder can spend 1 second to draw a star above it's location by looking straight down and holding the Active Ability Button, that it can teleport to at any time. It can place 3 stars at a time, with the oldest star disappearing when the newest is placed. Survivors can sabotage stars, so when the Elder teleports to it there is an explosion, destroying the star and stunning the Elder for 3 seconds, as well as revealing it's location to all Survivors within 32 meters. (Hidden: This stun is decreased by Enduring). When teleporting to a sabotaged star, that star is removed. Holding the Active Ability Button for 3 seconds while looking at a placed star will teleport the Elder to it, with a 30 second cooldown.
Secondary Ability: Cosmic Flare
Holding m2 will charge blue fire in the Elder's left hand, and slows the Elder down to 100% speed for the duration of the charge. It takes 1 second to reach max charge, where the fire will travel as fast as a fully charged Huntress hatchet straight in the direction the Elder was looking, for a max of 24 meters. For every .25 seconds it is charged, the fire goes a certain distance. Without charge, 8 meters, .25 seconds, 12 meters, etc. The fire can go through any obstacle, but when it does it's speed and range are both halved. The Elder has 4 charges of the Cosmic Flare, gaining 1 back every 45 seconds. After firing a Cosmic Flare, the Elder can't charge one again for about 1 second, and during that one second it is also still slowed to 100%.
Add-ons would include:
- Increasing the range of Cosmic Flare when fully charged, while increasing the time it takes to charge
- Decreasing the cooldown of Starlight
- Decreasing the time it takes to place stars with Starlight
- Increasing the amount of stars that can be placed (a max of 1)
- Decreasing the time it takes to gain a charge with Cosmic Flare
- Decreasing the cooldown between Cosmic Flares (a max of "moderately")
- Decreasing the stun of teleporting to a sabotaged star
- Applying specific effects when hit by a Cosmic Flare
Iridescent Add-ons:
Iridescent Star - 2 more stars can be placed before the oldest star disappears when another is placed. The cooldown of teleporting to a star is considerably decreased. The time it takes to place a star is slightly increased. The time it takes to fully charge a Cosmic Flare is slightly increased.
Occult Texts - The Elder moves at 115% movement speed (4.6m/s). Cosmic Flares cannot travel through objects. The cooldown between teleports is considerably increased.
Teachable Perks:
Cursed Body - Coming into contact with the beast curses the soul, eating the spirit. After being picked up, Survivors have a 20% decrease in healing speeds to themselves and to others for the remainder of the trial. When a Survivor is hooked, all other Survivors who have been hooked are blinded for 15/30/45 seconds.
"This being demonstrates great power, how did the Fog capture it?" - The Observer
Maddening Presence - When in the Killer's Terror Radius, Survivors will breathe 50% louder, and after 90/75/60 seconds of being in the Killer's Terror Radius, a Survivor will scream, revealing their location for 3 seconds. After injuring a Survivor, all other Survivors within 24 meters of the Killer will scream.
"The madness this being causes only matches the madness of being trapped by the Fog itself." - The Observer
Hex: Alignment - After being unhooked, all action speeds for the unhooked Survivor will be decreased by 10% until the Hex Totem is removed. If the Totem containing this perk is destroyed, it will appear at a Dull Totem after 120/110/100 seconds. This resets all action speed decreases for all Survivors that have been previously unhooked. If this perk has been contained in 3 Totems over the course of a trial, all Survivors are Exposed for the remainder of the trial.
"This being contains the same energy held in the Fog. Were they once the same?" - The Observer

Updated the quotes beneath the perks, because I mixed up Vigo and the Observer

Interesting.. this seems to be a mix between an altered version of the Black Catalyst ability (Hag) and Spencer's Last Breath ability (Nurse's)
