pipping does not depend on the scoring. though scoring CAN indicate the chances of pipping, but if your silver emblem in gate keeping was a gold you'd have pipped. you got 12 points out of 16. this has been the way of the land since before october 2018, nothing has changed. this since the emblem system was put in it's been like this and you're surprised now? I've made a perfect 32K and still depipped! it all depends on the emblems not your points.

i know and i know what was my problem, i had too many long chases, too many heals and gens faster than they should have but i got so many points in other aspects that gave me 32K. I was playing Hag.

Funny because with Myers is the exact opposite, you can 3K or 4K, get double pip and dont even get 24k BPs.

oddest thing though.... i did a scratched mirror which rarely gets good chaser points or emblem progress and not only did I 4K but I got about 24K points, AND 4 iri emblems! lol

Its the problem with the scoring system, Myers only gets Devotion by stalking and to get 8k without killing everyone you practically have to drain all 4 Survivors which is very rare, you dont need so many EW3 to finish the trial, also having Exposed as his main ability bypasses 1 hit, earning him half Brutality points (at least this category can be feed by kicking stuff) and his chases are shorter thanks to Exposed and lower Terror Radius so you also get less points from chasing people around (because chases are shorter and start later).
In the end you can get 2 pips because his toolkit is decent for pipping but awful for scoring.

A correctly played SM myers does well in chaser. If you hit and immedietly abandon chase its considered won

Emblems are fundamentally flawed. They punish players for playing their role efficient.

you can't "stalk" like you normally would with scratched mirror. normally since mikie is so slow, he can't keep chases so the chaser emblem usually isn't going to be iri. it's not unheard of but normally when you are playing a build for the first time ever like this one, it's hard to get that... and that's what was amazing by it. scoring for what I got was fair and not awful I was pleasantly surprised.

actually the chase is won as soon as the hit occurs, and another starts up so if you keep after them that could be another chase won but could take a while. this is why plague gets so many chases won because when she's making people sick each hit ends the chase to start another.

Not like any of it matters anyways.
If skill in this game was rated on a scale of 1 to 10; most red ranks would fall around a 4. The game just caps everyone there for matchmaking; but a lot of people, are waaaayyy beyond that in skill at this game.
I wouldn't get too hung up on ranks or pips.

Define skill, cause is alot of ways to be succesful as a survivor.
And dont worry, after the mid chapter we wont be hung on ranks or pips anyway. It will b e a complete casual game with no ladder grind, besides A bp grind which repreasents time more then succesfull in a match

Scratched Mirror gives extra BPs on Brutality and Deviouness so you dont lose BPs from regular Myers builds, 24k is around what you usually get with a Mirror build if you dont prolong the trial artificially and kill all 4 Survivors, which is similar to what Myers gets because how his toolkit works by bypassing a lot of score events, I was clarifying why Myers get less BPs than other Killers idepently of build.

as i said i wasn't disapointed with the amount of bps i got, i was just surprised that i got 4 iri emblems, that's all and it also showed that you can get 4 iri emblems without having a perfect 32K score.

Well thats what I said in my first post, you can get 2 pips as Myers and barely reach 23-25k BPs.
