Is Oni OP, Balanced, or Trash?

Once more. Yeah Oni is balanced even with his best perk Infectious he's balanced. Unlike Billy with unlimited power Oni has to earn his by being an M1 killer. And when he does earn his power he has 45 seconds base to work with. And his power can't be used against all loops. But in the right hands a good Oni can make those 45 seconds a snowball fight. Use it's mobility to get to a gen or healing survivors. And make tight turns into many loops for easy downs.

Depends on the survivors you get. Good survivors will know to always greed, and be especially cautious, running away very early when he approach a gen. They can afford to do such, as he's just an m1 killer.

Unfortunately, many survivors will get smacked in the middle of nowhere and go selfcare in a corner.

Oni is one of the best killers in the game, but it definitely doesn't mean he's OP. When facing good survivors, they can easily dodge his attacks while in Blood Fury (if they're not in a deadzone).

Needless to say, I giggled when I saw you compare Billy to Oni, because I absolutely suck at Billy.

When he gets his power, he keeps going. But until you get your ability, he's just a m1 killer. If survivors don't give you the first hit you're screwed. Shack pallet, Single pallets, Jungle gyms pallets are completely safe. You need blood, and gens get done, fast

If he had access to his power all the time like billy, he'd be op for sure. Since it takes work to get it, he seems pretty balanced to me.

I agree he's an M1 killer without Blood Fury, but the same could be said about many other killers.

Filling up your gauge is fairly easy, and usually takes about 2 hits. Pressuring people off of gens usually will get you a hit anyways because survivors tend to be cocky.

Needless to say, if you're worried about gens, make a 3 gen for yourself and slug away with your power (bonus points for Infectious Fright).

Tend. But it's not what really really good survivors do. If they see you're an oni they'll run to the closest jungle gym, as soon as they hear the terror radius. They might even wait for corrupted intervention to run out, it doesn't cost anything but wasting a killer's perk for free.

One really really stupid thing that might work to get the first hit could be using insidious. That would be so funny LUL. Even if I think trail of torment is better

Let me just say, I would never run Corrupted Intervention on Oni. I don't think it's a very good perk & should only be used for setup killers.

Anyways you have a point, but committing to one chase through a jungle gym isn't bad as long as you know the dynamics of it. Even if gens fly by, a single use of your Blood Fury could mean a game ending if you know how to use it correctly. It doesn't always work, but I think Oni is reliable in this aspect.

btw insidious on oni sounds really funny considering the fact that he's so tall lmao
