Why does Spirit share an Oni skin, but Oni doesn't share a Spirit skin?
Her awakened origin skin she got from Oni, but Oni doesn't have a skin he got from Spirit. And don't say it's because he's a man, that's misandrist and I don't wanna hear it.

Sure but I think they can't do it cause it will oversexualise the character (imagine a bulge in the lower half^^), a kimono skin for both should be possible tho.
Also thanks to you I learned what spirit wear is a sarashi, I always though it was just a kind of mortuary bandage to cover chest and genitals.

That kinda link is commonly two sided tho. The tradition of giving gifts to an elder, even postmortem, as a sign of respect is pretty common.
You have your great grandfather's medal but nothing says you can't give your great grandfather your tennis cup if you truly mean it as a sign of respect. I mean I've worked with more than a few people with troubled youths. It was very common for them to give there grandparents their diplomas as a sign of gratitude and respect for not giving up on them when others did, even a few who sealed it in a tube and left it at their resting place.
Nothing says spirit can't give her ancestor a symbol of her respect in someway that could be reflected as a cosmetic.

i think the reason is pretty simple : he is her ancestor therefore she honors him by wearing the same armor he did. But since he never heard about her he can't honor her by wearing anything that would represent her ^^

Just because Oni is male doesn't mean its over sexualised, its no more sexual than having a bugle in his other clothes, just basic anatomy.
