What would youre dream killer power be?
Just as the title says i curious as to what everyones dream killer power would be.
Mine would probably be something to do with transformation, kinda like onis power but on a far greater scale.

Blight but not slippery, and a bit taller.

Chair.
Toss a chair at a survivor, getting a direct hit puts them in the downed state , the chair explodes upon impact any survivor near by the impact get injured.
Or
Chair .
Ability to transform into a chair moving at extreme speeds and crashing into any survivor puts them in the injured state.

Stranger Things accurate Demogorgon.
Can pull Survivors into the Upside-Down, where there is a corrupted version of the map. Demo is faster and sees aura's when within 20 meters while in the Upside-Down.
Survivors can use either his own Portals to escape, find a randomly generated Portal (which is highlighted) or get another Survivor to pull them out.
Demogorgon can pull one generator into the Upside-Down with him, forcing the Survivors to play in his realm.
His Portals expand in the normal world and corrupt the surrounding environment, making it more dangerous to leave them unattended.
Basically, make Demo a hybrid of himself right now and Old Freddy. Main difference is that Demo doesn't HAVE to pull Survivors to the Upside-Down to hit them, it's just better for him to do so.

I want a killer than can scale over the environment and launch itself at unsuspecting survivors. It's why I really want Chucky or the Xenomorph from Aliens to be in this game. Chucky would be cooler if they can use his original actors laugh when he attacks.

Imagine your in Hawkins and the Xenomorph is on the ceiling above you and pulls you up. Jumpscare city.

Dream Demon
Death won't accept him and thus he remains, a calamity, indisputable master of his victims' nightmares. Dream Demon allows The Nightmare to pull Survivors into the Dream World.
- Survivors who are awake do not see or hear The Nightmare.
- Once targeted by The Nightmare power, Survivors enter the Dream Transition after some time.
- During the Dream Transition they can see The Nightmare intermittently.
- When the Dream Transition lapse, the Survivor is pulled into the Dream World.
Once in the Dream World:
- Survivors' Auras are revealed to The Nightmare when they are outside of his terror radius.
- Survivors suffer an action speed penalty
- To exit the Dream World, Survivors can find other non-sleeping Survivors to perform a wake up action
- Some failed actions can wake up the Survivor.
- Getting hooked wakes up the Survivor

An extremely large killer, like a blob.
I recently thought of what it would be like to have William Birkin from Resident Evil 2 as a killer. And anyone who's played that game knows that by the end of it, Birkin is nothing more than a wall of flesh. I'd think it'd be pretty cool to have a killer like this, but I'm really not sure how the devs would do it.
1 -
Oh god gimme
I'd go a bit further and give demo blight's rush and give blight something else.
I think it'd be super scary and fun to have demo go on all fours and jump off the sides of walls
3 -
I always thought the transformation idea would be great for a werewolf-type killer. Transforms into beast mode and runs around fast on all fours or some #########.
My personal dream power would be to bing a bell and be invisible.
Wait...

I'd just make Shred have one bounce tbh.
(and fix its FPS issues on Console pls)
1 -
Fair enough and yes
Can run RDR2 with smooth fps, and no stutters
DBD
*Airplane engine noises*
15-30 fps, freezes when getting bloodlust, and can't handle fancy pants moving bumping into tires

I would play a lot more killer if I could! OMG. Survivors sitting on a gen and some slime goop falls down on them, only for them to look up and see me coming at them! They'd probably have to rework some maps to make ceilings a little higher or give camouflage to the xenomorph, but it is work that I am willing to put the devs through.
3 -
I own an Xbox but this is still accurate.
7 -
So would I. I'd really love to see something like that.
Still want my Demo rework tho
3 -
A fellow Old Freddy main, I see. As much as I love New Freddy, it would be nice to play his old version again, but with lots of QoL changes.

My killer power: Tax Collector
"Your experience as a tax professional working at the IRS strikes fear into the hearts of survivors. Each time a survivor throws down a pallet, they will be charged 10,000 blood points from their personal account. If a survivor doesn't have the necessary funds to pay the fine, then they will be unable to interact with pallets."
- Also, whenever a survivor is sacrificed on the hook or mori'd, the killer will quickly add up any fines on their wrist-mounted printing calculator. A slip of paper is then torn from the calculator and rudely thrown at the survivor.

One that can suppress survivors perks and aura reading and a very slight amount of mobility I just want to see this as an experiment on both a personal level and a system level just to see how much perks can cary someone and how their reaction is when they can't use what they brought (and if judging off Franklin's they are gonna call for ab instant nerf)

Something that controls the lighting. IE a killer power that causes blackouts on the map where you use fire barrels, lanterns, flashlights and an on cooldown extra ability it gives each survivor to temporarily give light around them.
4 -
Going around and using bear traps to trap survivors but it's balanced and well optimised, seems like only a dream at this point though
1 -
I dunno about full on rework. Make rat liver base kit, make it a little easier to shred maybe, and faster portal traversal. He also should be quieter.
Most importantly, he needs a Christmas sweater and fluffy slippers.
3 -
His old power is the one thing I miss the most from this game. Despite it's flaws, it was a fun and unique power. It would be great if they let us play it again.
1 -
Demo would be overpowered as hell with a Christmas sweater.
5 -
This is true.
But Demo is the second least played Killer. He's barely above Plague. He boring.
3 -
Thats not a reason to not give him one.
5 -
This is literally what I imagined Demo would be like when he was announced.
1 -
A killer that commands an ally or a pet that can be a threat on the map at the same time as they are.
2 -
I would like this power to be possible but at the same time it is somewhat exaggerated, a flamethrower to burn the survivors.
1 -
The Twins must have been a real let-down for you.
5 -
Very much so. You'd think having a rabid, cannibalistic infant in your back would do more to hinder you during a chase than just making you oblivious and unable to heal or repair.
2 -
A killer who can make gravity super strong, so when survivors teabag they get stuck crouching and can't run away.
6 -
I change my mind, the killer power I'd like is to be able to pallet stun survivors as well as have the ability to blind them.
5 -
Some sort of bogeyman killer, with an ability to dash or teleport in order to cut off escape routes and end loops.
The power to interface screw survivors like the Doctor would be fun, too.
But what I really want is a killer based around grabs instead of chases.
0 -
Well, I will say something weird and throw It out here...A dragon, who breaths fire. And If a Survivor is exhausted they are auto downed by the fire. Let the fire linger as well and make survivors burn their hands If they interact with anything a blaze.

"But what I really want is a killer based around grabs instead of chases."
That's why I play tier 1 Mikey. Now, if the devs would fix grabs and put it back so that he's immune to Spine Chill in tier 1, it'd be perfect.
I like stealth killers. If I could materialize out of the shadows and grab the survivor crouching in the corner trying to hide, that'd be a great killer power.

Dream killer power:
You’re a large metallic statue with a halberd. When you activate your power, the halberd morphs into a long barbed pike and you move faster. You have limited time to successfully attack a survivor or the power ends and cools down..
Stab a survivor to instantly down them and impale them on your pike. After the attack, you tilt your pike upright and the survivor slides down to the base of it. The weight of the survivor slows you down to normal killer speed.
Stab a 2nd survivor to impale them and stack them on top of the first. Each survivor added to the stack slows you down further.
The survivors wiggle to interfere with your movement (but less that carrying a survivor on your shoulder). More stacked survivors = more interference. If they fully wiggle, then your power ends and you dump them off the pike onto the ground. Survivors have a 50% chance of landing on their feet, injured rather than dying. Each time a survivor is added to the pike, the wiggle meter is reset. More survivors struggling together will refill the meter faster though.
You can also end the power yourself to guarantee you dump the survivors as slugs. This takes time and survivors can still wiggle to fill the meter, so don’t be greedy! (If you stack all 4, then the power ends and they have a base 25% chance of landing injured instead of dying. This is necessary to limit games ending with 4 slugs from the start)

Not a power but a perk. For every tbag performed in your terror radius the survivor suffers a 5% speed decrease. If within 10 meters of the gates the rate is 20%. Effect lasts for a/b/c seconds. Effect does not trigger until 1s passes (to ensure a survivor doesn't realize it's effect until it is too late)

Could be interesting, but grabs are to inconsistent at the moment so youd probably get cucked out of grabs when play this killer
1 -
The only killer power I want is John Carpenter's The Thing.
It has the ability to turn into the player model of any survivor in the match and loses terror radius and stain when it does, and can pretend to work on gens, totems, open chests, etc. (no progress is done and actually regresses any progress but Survivor won't see the regression) but can't attack survivors in this form. Has slight delay to revert back to monster mode to hit survivors similar to Wraith uncloak. In monster form it has a ranged tentacle attack. Not super long range and nothing over the top.

Why would a killer want to make the map darker?
1 -
Love the idea, sadly this type of killer will get destroyed by swfs
1 -
Just gonna post these two links here, with two of my concepts that obviously need gameplay and balancing twists but are overall things I wanna see:
The Ice Queen, Charlie(The Darkness)
other than that some power using insects or spiders but I can’t really picture how that could be implemented...

Got to be a flying killer who swoops down on survivors from above.

PLEASE GIMME

also
i'm just going to leave this here, to answer the OPs question, basically it's Huntress but with a small blight dash and slight map manipulation, cutting off troublesome loops while giving you options to hit survivors from a distance and closing that distance, balanced out by being 105% speed and making sneaking up basically impossible with a 48m terror radius
1 -
One who's ability is so different that normal meta perks aren't useful for them. My idea for this was a killer with a built in generator progress stealing power but it could be anything.
Just would be cool to see how they would do this.

Listen: For the devs to listen to killers :)

Because he can see in the dark, the survivors can't.

Flight and the ability to divebomb for one hit downs.
