Add-on rarities.

Ok when you look through a lot of The Killers they seem to have a problem when it comes to their add-ons.

The overall impacts of these add-ons are pretty much all over the place and a lot of the times you tend to see add-on of a higher rarity being pretty much useless. Looking at you deathslinger and pyramid head.

So I'm just going to run through some times if you like add-ons were done really well for their rarity and what they provide.

This is going to get a bit rambly so long story short if you don't want to read it higher tier add-ons need to be more impactful very good examples of this but it's just not consistent for all Killers

Brown to Yellow.

Common and uncommon these two slots I usually see as most suitable for add-ons that tend to fall under three categories.

Tutorial add-ons.

Typically these are add-on stab help you out with more complex and mechanically skilled add-ons giving you a bit of assistance to help you learn the mechanics.

A great example of this would be plaid flannel for the nurse. This helps most players essentially get a grip off blink distance and positioning it's your training wheels for nurse as it were. Add-ons like these should remain lower rarity because they're more accessible to newer players or people who are just freshly trying out the Killer.

Slight buff.

These that aren't extremely game-changing but they just managed to help the power feel a lot more smooth.

Rat liver and combat Straps are great examples they make both their respective powers more fluid and smooth to the point where they can't even be in basekit without it being too overpowered however they're not complete game dominators.

Memey bloodpoint add-ons.

Well I usually find these hit or miss but if you are going to add these Behaviour keep them to the common territory. They become cheap fun for bloodpoint bonuses but you're not taking away slots for the more important add-ons looking at you nurse

Green and Purple

Rare and very rare this is when the the the add-ons should be giving the power a really strong effect or a strong stat boost and no making the blendette who has no aura reading perks have the blindness status effect is not a strong stat boost or effect.

Strong effects

These are things that usually give a great additional bonus to watch your power can do sometimes you can even change your whole build based around these.

Scratched mirror being probably one of the best examples of this not only does it give it a massive advantage to your tier 1 but it completely changes the way you play Myers you're no longer a snowballer but instead you could play a strategic stealth ambusher.

Greater stat boosts

These give strongest boosts that usually go beyond the just making the power feel more fluid. Flower babushka and burning man painting both make the power more devastating. These definitely definitely have more of an impact than the common to uncommon counterparts which should be more for making the power feel fluid.

Pink add-ons

Ultra rares these should be game-changing they should definitely be the the add-ons give a considerable amount of strength to stats or give a devastating bonus.

Black incense which can give the plague complete wall hacks against any of those who who don't decide to cleanse against her.

Mother daughter ring Which can make the spirit's map incredibly strong allowing her to easily lock down areas.

However major downside of this is that there are killers that definitely don't fall under this for example Legion (Frank's mixtape and Stab wounds study) Also pyramid head and deathslinger who's ultra rares are about as useful as smashing your head against the wall to stop a headache
