Chapter 22 AKA Throne of Deceit

New Killer: The Warrior/Dragon

A long time ago, there lived a king of a Chinese dynasty called “The Tieng-Chu” that ruled over great and prosperous China centuries ago. The king had two children: a son named Tun and a daughter named Miang, though the children weren’t the closest of siblings and later resented each other through their teenage years as Tun was trained in the way of a skilled warrior and to later take the throne once his father had passed, and Miang tended to the health of commoners and also served as a maid to her father and her spoiled brother. One day a rivaling dynasty attempted to invade the king’s land and many of the king’s people were slain in this attack thus this caused the king to charge straight into battle and protect his kingdom. As he fought back, he saw his daughter being taken by a brute of a soldier and decapitated the man to save the girl as he told her to run into the surrounding forest until the battle was over. Miang took to her feet and ran as fast as she could to a tall bamboo tree where she hid and observed the fighting from the kingdom’s fields, she saw her father fight but then her brother rushed towards his father and slashed him repeatedly with the sword until one final swoop beheaded the mighty king. Miang watched in horror as her father died, trying not to cry, and the pain of losing her father set in moments after his death. Tun heard his sister’s mumbled weeps of sorrows beneath her fragile, porcelain-like hands and began approaching the tree she was hiding behind, but when he looked behind he did not see his sister. Tun was on a manhunt for his sister, but Miang sought refuge at a dilapidated monastery hidden deep within the vast forest she trudged through and came upon the spirit of a dragon who somehow knew her situation. She was frightened as she thought dragons weren’t real and was fabricated by the stories her father had told her, but it was almost surreal seeing this powerful creature in real life. The dragon made her a deal, it would teach her the ways of a true warrior and help her have her revenge on her brother if she allowed it to possess her body when it saw fit. She agreed and a burst of anger, yet strength had washed over her body. Miang would go onto become a strong warrior and returned to the land her father once reigned over, meanwhile Tun has heard rumors circulating through the Asian continent of a mighty one-man warrior who would wipe out entire armies and villages in a single night. Tun rallied his army and prepared for this warrior’s attack, he never realized who or rather what he was facing. Miang completely obliterated Tun’s army and came face to face with her brother in the ruined field lands, the siblings battled and Miang finally sliced her brother in half to receive her revenge. The people in the kingdom greatly admired Miang but her reign as queen would be sort lived as the dragon consumed more and more of her soul as each day passed, she was losing control of her own actions and months after her victory the dragon fully awoke within her from its dormant state. Miang under the dragon’s control killed all of the people living within the kingdom and left nothing but rubble and ash. When the dragon went into a temporary state of rest, Miang suddenly woke and laid her eyes on the massacre the dragon committed using her own body. She was filled with sorrow at the atrocities she encountered and exiled herself to her father’s former castle in the mountains where she’d lay on a throne for all eternity as she fights to keep the dragon asleep. Villagers never saw her again, but a few days after her self-exile the common people witnessed a dark enshrouded fog atop the ruined castle.

Killer Power: Become The Dragon

You have fought to contain this great evil inside of you but now it has seeped out onto the surface and no one is safe.

The Warrior can absorb an essence of a downed survivor’s soul and this fills the power gauge where if it’s full then you can shift into The Dragon thus making you much more faster both in action and movement speed, you can mask your terror radius for a short amount of time before going into an attack, you have faster cool down in missed attacks, and you can charge up a ranged power attack where you can breathe fire out of your mask and a survivor caught directly in its path will down that same survivor, while turning your head towards a secondary survivor will burn them and put them into the deep wounds status effect.

Secondary killer power: Dynasty’s End

The Warrior is able to grab throwing stars beneath her belt and throw them at survivors to injure them, though this is a precise weapon to handle and this can slow down The Warrior’s movement speed after using it for a short period.

The Warrior’s appearance -

The Warrior wears a blue dragon’s mask with a golden tongue sticking out of the mouth between jagged, razor-sharp fangs and it’s half broken on the left side where it exposes a part of the face of Miang. The exposed face shows an agitated, yet sorrowful stare from her cold, dead eyes. Her hair is also seen behind the mask and it’s the color red to match the common color schemes of dragons within Asian mythology. She wears ancestral armor that glows green when she’s absorbing a soul’s essence and yellow when fully becoming The Dragon, it appears to be covered in cobwebs, vegetation, and small speckles of blood can be seen when observing the armor. Cuts can also be shown in various regions of her attire and each cut is larger than the last one, though one can assume that this is the same armor her father had worn when Tun killed him as to explain where all of those cuts had come from and Miang’s skin underneath appears to be a decayed grey with bugs swarming around the small opening in her stomach cavity. She wears a belt with the design of a snake and dragon on it as they circle once another, while facing each other. She wields a staff with cravings of dragons and damned souls reaching out from it, a large blade is attached at the top of this staff and this is what she uses as a melee weapon.

New killer perk - Nowhere Left to Hide

You can observe the battlefield and know where cowards lie. If you hook a survivor, any survivor within a 40 meter radius that tries to hide in a locker will be held inside for 30 seconds by The Entity and the killer may be able to see the auras of survivors hiding inside.

New killer perk - Skillful Sadism

The powerful being that lies within you is pleased as blood spills on the battleground. Each hit you land on a survivor will exhaust any survivor in a 16 meter radius and the injured survivor’s grunts of pain will become much louder as well as the killer’s terror radius will disappear for a short period of time before coming back after putting an injured survivor into the dying state. This perk has a 40 second cool down.

New killer perk - Hex: Rightful Revenge

Revenge is a confession of pain and you seek to avenge something you lost that was very important to you. Any survivor who destroys a hex totem will have their aura revealed to you for 60 seconds, they will also be exposed for 45 seconds and exhausted.
