New OoO concept

So everyone is talking about ds and stuff, but I actually want to see more OoO discussions.

I know OoO was miserable to go against, but it was kinda useful (not really addressing the swf groups that would use it, but it applies sure), now with this new concept it will be one more of the thousands of situational perks that the survivors already have. Like, isn't this idea of OoO just an upgraded version of distortion, that, just like that perk, only works if the killer has some aura reading perk?

Don't get me wrong, Im mainly happy that the devs are coming up with ideas to change this perk, and moving towards the right direction, and I know a lot of things can still change and that there's going to be an whole ptb to test this out, but I actually just wanted to discuss this. Do u have any other ideas to change OoO to make it still useful(and not situational) without it being unfun to face?

I like suggested change. It will make Object useful even in solo queue. And swf stop abusing it as ultimate info perk.

I think object can be a really powerful perk. BBQ, nurses (and self care, meme combo), bitter murmur, I'm all ears are some really popular killer perks and when you can see their aura at the same time it can be really strong or allows you to counterplay. Also not to mention the 30s aura reveal stuff. Could come in clutch in some cases for survivors, unless you go against a PH or a stealth killer in which case...ehm..yeah. Fair counterplay

I like the idea of Object revealing a Survivor's Aura when they trigger a loud noise notification for maybe 1-2-3 seconds. It would have the potential to give the Survivor a decent amount of information but draw a lot of attention. Nowhere near as oppressive as the current version though. You couldn't use it on generators for example unless you wanted to continuously fail skill checks.
