Does the entity reset the memories of the survivors after every trial? That could explain why they never remember how to fix a gen after Countless times doing it. Or why they still have not become desensitized to the killers and the pain inflicted on them.

    Hehehehehe. I don't think so? Maybe what happens in the trial but nothing afterwords because there are points where Benedict tells his name to certain people but not to others because he doesn't want them to remember him when he leaves them on the hook. And survivors can't talk during Trials.

    What do you mean "they never remember how to fix a gen"? 
    And, btw, you can't really became desensitized to pain and get used to it. Well, technically, there is Iron will perk, but, lets talk about mental aspect. Its wounds at half of your spine most times. You can't really get used to it, cause its freakin painful. And true terror here lies in fact, that they remember their previous attempts to escape. And they slowly realising, that there is no escape. I mean, they wouldn't be able to lose hope, and feed Entity, if they always thought its their first attempt to escape.

    well skill checks show they still dont know and will really never know how, they remember how to fix a gen the first time
