Who were the survivors of the first trailer for Dead by Daylight?
Do not tell me that they are beta versions of Claudette, Dwight, Jake and Meg, there must be a story behind them, if we rely on history, I have 2 theories, I say that they were the first victims of the entity long before Claudette, Dwight , Jake and Meg came to the kingdom of the entity or were ex-workers who worked in MacMillan Estate, in the lore of the Trapper it is mentioned that he took workers and people to the mines to kill them thus knowing him as the greatest brutal murderer of that time. but the main question, who are they?

In-universe your explanation's likely correct, out-of-universe these are likely early designs for Meg, jake or dwight, and claudette

Sorry, but we can't ignore facts just because you don't want to hear them, there is no story to these survivors other than them being Alpha versions of Meg, Jake and Claudette (yes, Meg and Claudette switched race by release).
If anything, their story is that character design has a tendency to change radically during early development stages of a game.

Yeah if you look at really old footage of the alpha testing the two female survivors are Alpha Meg and Claudette and we can only assume based off the sounds the guy is using that that's a beta version of Jake (that didn't even make the alpha testing). Like @Alionis said, you can't just ignore facts because you don't want to hear them. Those are the facts. Not everything in the game needs some sort of story.

No, they're not. It's been known for years that the survivors in the original trailer are alpha versions of Jake, Meg and Claudette.

I already know that they are the alpha versions what i meant was they could use the 3 models as one of the lost tapes or a new survivor coming into the game

The devs had confirmed these survivors being the alpha versions way back when they still did weekly dev streams already. They literally showed footage of prototypes of the game with them in it.
As for that tweet, devs can make mistakes as well and Matt, as far as I know, isn't the one doing the lore. So as far as I'm concerned, that claim is bogus.
