Why can't Michael and Ghostface stalk through corn?
I do not understand why they can't. You'd think the 2 of them would be the perfect candidates for staring at people from behind foliage.

Because you need to see a certain percentage of a survivor to be stalking them and the corn dosent help with that

Cause I believe it was a quick way to just find hiding survivors...just spam you power and there they are. Since corn maps have a lot of corn, it would get stupid easy to stalk on those maps.

That’s a good point. It would be impossible for survivors to hide at all on Rotten Fields if GF & Myers power worked that way.

But wouldn't it make sense for the corn maps to favour M and GF? The one thing they are both known for is stalking people from behind various obstacles. Allowing them to stalk through the corn would make them one of the only killers that the map actually favours rather than almost completely blinds.

I always find it weird that Ghostface can stalk through the tiniest cracks in the wall but not through corn.

I highly doubt that the Devs will improve visibility in corn after the rework. If anything they will make it worse but I hope it's the other way around.

It may not even be corn anymore...it may be rice fields..or pumpkin patches..or grape vines..

Prolly some kinda programming flaw, and the corn being treated as a solid object or something, I doubt it was meant to be done on purpose because it blocks you even when you can clearly see the survivor.

It's all due to the percentage of the survivor you can see. The corn just blocks too much of it.

Actually, yes it is. It’s exactly the reason why there are next to no loops within the cornfields of Rotten Fields, and around the perimeter instead.

Poor map design (imo and probably others too) doesn't justify the ability to become near invisble in the right clothing, tbh, it doesn't work most of the time, in chase, but out of chase as soon as you get to a wokred on gen you have to squint at your screen and say "is that a claudette the ground or a corn stalk?"
Also just saying, rotten fields is pretty much just shelter woods, larger, with gens 2000 miles away from eachother, literal 1000s of corn stalks cow tree, old shack and a ######### ton of PGs and JGs around the edges. Now ofc shelter woods isn't balanced and is acc pretty good for GF and michael but rotten feilds is like the exact opposite. In fact, I'd rather get Abbatoir, better spawns, less corn and smaller. Rotten Fields is generally pain and encourages unfun playstyles (immersion is imo just denying both you and the killer the chase which is the best part of the game and where you actually get the feel of horror and being chased)

Personally, think some killer effects should work on the corn (plague puke) and Killer weapons should be able to knock It down..But,that just me.
