Struggle Not Working ???
No matter how fast I press A to struggle, I die after only 2-3 seconds. Anyone else having this problem? This has gone on for several days.

Are you on the Xbox One or Series X?
The Xbox One has been having some serious problems with framerates so you might be getting framerate screwed because the game doesn't register what you're doing when the framerate dies like that...

If it's Framerate, there is nothing you can do about it.
You can wait to see if others are having this issue too but at least on my Series X, I've had nothing like this. You can always do a Bug Report just in case as I'm just assuming Framerate right now.

My game also jumps around a lot and lags all over the place. I checked my wifi connection and it says I have full bars. My other games (like Minecraft where I play with other people) do not do that. Is that the same issue (I.e. frame rate)?

Yes. DbD is just terribly optimized on consoles. Like... very bad. BHVR seems to want to ignore the issues players on the PS4 and Xbox One face, no matter how many times they've said they're trying to optimize it they never have. All we can do is hope that they will indeed optimize it soon.

Yup, almost certainly frame rate. With all the updates the game has gotten, the last Gen consoles just can't handle the game anymore.
BHVR has claimed they're working on it but it's been over a year without a word. At this point, I'm confident to say BHVRs plan seems to be to just run out the clock now. Focus on the new Gen and just let the old Gen die out as people upgrade rather than attempt to fix any of it...

Change your struggle button to x. Trust me, worked for me and all the people who had this problem.
