New killer: The surgeon
Difficulty: Easy
Brief description: An investigating killer, able to use his chemical injection to make survivors go sick, weakening them

Lore: Ryan Arnolds was one of the most brilliant students in the area of anatomy, he was always eager to learn new things and this capacity led him to a long and respectable career as a Surgeon.
Once he read a new book about anatomy he went into another one, always seeking for more information about the complex body he inhabited, until he knew everything that there was to learn from books. He wanted more, he went to conferences, made himself friend with many well-known anatomists and scientists, eventually he got to know every detail they told him about their knowledge. That wasn’t enough, he left them once he knew all they told him, feeling that they were incompetent and ignorants, he knew there was more to find about, more knowledge that couldn’t be obtained from books or scientists.
One night Ryan stayed for extra hours in the hospital, when he was about to go home he saw a junkie lying on the street, probably under the effect of some narcotic. He was going to yell at him when an idea came to his mind, he realized that he had all the knowledge he wanted in his hands. He grabbed the man by his toes and dragged him towards the back of the hospital, the man didn’t react, he must have thought Ryan was an hallucination. Once he was behind the hospital Ryan made use of the dumpsters to climb up to the window of one of the examination rooms, caring the man with him. When he got himself inside, he finally was able to search for that knowledge he so long desired to get, after he finished he simply threw the rests of the man to the dumpsters he used before and went home, joyfull for his first of many investigations.
He kept doing this for a whole month, every night he went to the streets near the hospital and looked for the wastes of society, junkies, homeless, prostitutes, everything that wouldn’t be missed or looked for. He studied their bodies, seeking for the knowledge that no one else had given him, and then got rid of them. No one ever suspected, why would them? Ryan was respected between his co-workers, and he showed an extremely deep knowledge when performing surgeries, always coming up with better ways to fix his patients.
One of the psychiatrist in the hospital felt that something weird was going on around Ryan, the way his attitude changed so quickly and, perhaps moved by an inner fear that the eyes of the man he was staring at gave him the same feeling than the ones of the many mentally deranged patients he had treated, he started to ask the other doctors of the hospital about how Ryan acted when performing surgeries. They told him that he sometimes seemed to be lost in his thoughts when staring at the patient’s bodies, like if he knew something that the other people in that room ignored.
The psychiatrist feared the worst, he followed Ryan for the rest of the day, trying to find something strange or unusual in the way he acted, but everything seemed mostly normal, he was joyful as always and talked openly with the medical staff. When the sun gave way to the moon something changed in his behaviour, he seemed to be impatient for his crew to go home, and rejected most of the people that wanted to talk to him, saying that he had urgent work to do.
Ryan went outside the hospital three hours later, and he turned in the direction of his home. The psychiatrist felt like an idiot, he had spent all day following a man for nothing, just because he had “changed his behaviour quickly”, he went to his car, cursing in silence and when he was about to start the engine he saw it.
The surgeon was on the other side of the street, standing next to a homeless man, offering him what seemed like a syringe full of some green substance, the man accepted it with no problem and, being helped by Ryan, injected himself the substance. So this is what you are doing, giving drugs to poor people? the psychiatrist, but then something unsuspected happened, the man fell to the ground, unconscious. Ryan, unsettled for what happened, started dragging the man back the way he came from, towards the hospital.
The psychiatrist followed him, he saw how he went to the back of the hospital and without hesitating he jumped on a dumpster, to then enter one of the examination rooms, dragging the homeless man.
The doctor was confused, why would someone like Ryan drug a man to then sneak him into the hospital? He had to take a closer look, he climbed over the dumpsters and peered through the window, he saw how the surgeon put the man on a table and then grabbed a scalpel. When he was about to perform the cut he suddenly stopped and turned around, looking directly at the window, the psychiatrist saw the insanity he had once suspected in the eyes of Ryan, and with the surprise he falled inside the dumpster he was standing at, and was trapped by the amount of bodies inside of it.
He never came back, this news reached the authorities which at one night broke into the surgeon’s room only to find it empty, he escaped at the last second.
On the walls there were tons of anatomic diagrams, all of them were written over with words like “lie” or “fake”. In the middle of the room the police found the missing psychiatrist, his chest had been cut wide open, revealing Ryan’s methods of learning, all the organs had been cut in pieces and spattered through the body, the table next to it and the floor, as if the surgeon threw them away when he considered them useless to whatever he was investigating.
The surgeon was searched throughout the whole country but he was nowhere to be found, the authorities never knew that the surgeon had proceed with his investigations in a place where the test subjects never ended and the blood never run out.
Apparel: The surgeon wears a classic green surgery uniform, in his head he wears a surgical cap, big goggles that are so grey the eyes can’t be seen through them and a surgical mask. His weapon is a surgical scalpel bigger than all the normal ones
Power: Chemical injection
All your deep investigation on human anatomy teached you a thing or two about how to make the human body weaker with a few compounds
When close enough to a survivor you can use your syringe to apply a green chemical compound to them.
Once injected with the drug, the survivor will start to enter a sick state, the survivor will loose control of himself and start moving from side to side, not being able to walk or run in a straight line, making it more difficult to go to windows or pallets, he will suffer from the hindered status effect and the survivor will cough from time to time revealing its location. Survivors can be cured from the sick state by healing, either by themselves or another survivor, if the survivor that is sick is in the injured state the sickness will be cured first and then the survivor can be fully healed. A dying survivor will be automatically cured when healed back to the injured state.
The syringe has two uses till its completely empty, once the syringe is empty or half used it can be reloaded by going to any chest, which will be revealed to the killer. No matter if the chest is opened or not you can interact with it and once the syringe is full the killer will close it back, giving a chance for a survivor to come to the chest and search it only to find nothing inside, and without being rewarded with any bloodpoints. A survivor can see the chemicals inside a chest if they take a close look.

Shattered glasses: A pair of round glasses with their lens broken, the memories of a failed experiment fill the surgeon with anger and determination. Reload time for the syringe is considerably increased, you damage 25% of whatever item was in the chest while you interacted with it
Very rare:
Dr. Martin’s lung: A lung that once belonged to Dr. Martin Wilson, the memory of an incomplete experiment fills the surgeon with anger. Reload time for the syringe is tremendously increased, you damage 50% of whatever item was in the chest while you interacted with it
Bloody trachea hook: When a survivor completes a search in a chest that you already interacted with, you recieve a noise notification

Glowing mix: A huge conical flask that contains a strange, glowing mix. Sick survivors’ blood pools will have a green and glowing look, making them easier to see
Ultra rare:
Highly contagious virus: The infection mutated. When a sick survivor is cured by a healthy survivor it will become sick and will not be able to be cured by the one that was sick before him. A sick survivor will not be able to cure himself. Removes the ability to recharge the syringe.

Botulinum toxin: A few drops of one of the most highly poisonous toxins. Grants the ability to kill dying survivors that are sick by your own hand. Removes the ability to recharge the syringe

Animations:
When swinging, your swing starts from behind and then goes in a circle to the right so the tip of the scalpel is directly on a survivor
When you perform a successful hit the surgeon will hold the scalpel close to him and use his fingers to clean it
When injecting a survivor the surgeon will hold their right arm and the camera will follow the syringe as it is injected in the survivor (3 seconds).
After being infected the survivor will push the killer of him and the killer will be briefly stun so the survivor can run away (stun time=3 seconds) the perk “enduring” does not affect this stun time
When a survivor is sick it will run holding one hand over his head like if it had fever and their legs and arms will look weaker when running.
When a sick survivor is walking it will hold both of their hands on their stomach and it will look tired
When a sick survivor is standing still it will be like when walking
When a sick and injured survivor is running it will still hold one hand over their head but it will be limping
When a sick and injured survivor is walking it will no longer have both of their hands over his stomach, one of them will be like when being injured normally and the other will be close to the stomach but not touching it.
When a sick and injured survivor is standing still it will be like when walking
A sick survivor is shown with a biologic hazard sign on them
When performing a memento mori the surgeon will turn the survivor on his back and with his scalpel he will cut the survivor chest, then he will put his hand inside the survivor’s chest and take his heart. The survivor will weakly try to reach it but, as he analyses it, the surgeon will push their arm away. Then he will throw the heart away as if it was useless to his investigations (both killer and survivor PTB’s of the mori will be in third person and from the same angle as the hag’s mori so the survivor’s organs will not be seen by the camera).
When reloading the syringe the killer will either open the chest which adds one second to the reload time, or not if the chest was previously opened by a survivor.
After opening (or not) the chest the surgeon will grab a small flask and charge the syringe like any other normal one, after getting the syringe full the surgeon will close the chest, even though the chest was already opened
Perks:
Nervous corruption
You know where to hit them to prevent the body from recovering. When a survivor takes a hit from you all of their status effects’ timers will go back to the start

Experience
With each dead subject you learn new things. Each dead survivor grants a bonus of 25% extra bloodpoints to one/two/three random scoring categories up to a maximum of 100% extra bloodpoints

Hex: Anesthetic effect
A curse that was build up in the most basics of surgical knowledge. Each time that a survivor takes a hit from it will receive a 5%/7%/9% reduced action speed,up to a maximum of 20%/28%/36%
The hex effect persists as long as the related hex totem is standing
“I managed to mix my chemical knowledge with this realm’s weird supernatural powers. I’m the greatest alchemist that ever lived!”-The surgeon
New map: Salmore county’s hospital
Description: Once a place that saved hundreds of patients from death and injuries, this place is now a dark reminder of how far can something fall from the desires of one man
The dumpsters that seem so normal contain inside, along with a hundred flies, the test subjects of a crazy and devoted anatomist. The people in the small Salmore county are all being haunted by the same question, did the crazy anatomist really fled? Or is he still in the hospital, doing indescribable experiments to his patients
Layout: The map is going to work like the badham preschool map, but in this one half of the map will be the hospital and the other half is going to have an empty wasteland where the shack will be located, the areas are going to be divided by a road.
The basement will spawn either inside the hospital right at the room where the surgeon did his research or in the shack.
The hospital will have a small parking lot where some dumpsters will be located, when getting close to these dumpsters flies can be heard buzzing and a hand can be seen sticking out of one of them
The layout of the hospital will be similar to the one of the Lerry’s memorial institute, but looking cleaner and only counting with four-squared rooms, one will be the room were the surgeon did his experiments
New survivor: Tony Salvador
Difficulty: Intermediate
Brief description: A self-inducing blamer, able to force himself into being better
His personal perks No failure allowed, Do something! and Charity makes him be useful for the other survivors even if he is not helping them directly and makes him stronger as the situation is getting out of hands
Lore: Tony was that weird thing that all parents wanted, a normal kid, he had friends, played baseball and did his homework without any discussion.
But as he started to grow up and reach the moment where your mind changes a strange feeling came with this change, the guilt. Every time he played a videogame he blamed himself of using to much technology and not playing outside, when he played outside with his friends he blamed himself of not being good enough to play the game correctly, so he'll go back home where his parents would be arguing again and he'll blame himself with the vague hope that it was true, that his parents still loved each other
Years passed and the same feeling kept inside him, till the point where he forced himself to go out to parties and nightclubs in an unnecessary attempt to socialise with people he knew he wouldn't like
One of those parties was in a forest, nothing special, the people in the party were too loud and energetic for Tony so he decided to go for a walk.
The forest at night was beautiful with the moon shining over the trees making them look like covered in the snow of winter, he thought it was so marvellous that he sat down just to appreciate it.
A few minutes passed and they seemed to clear his mind, somehow sitting here in this place gave him the sensation of calmness and confidence he was needing, he realized that the guilt he felt was just something in his mind, no one thought that way about him but himself, he finally felt alright and, giving himself a moment to silently thank the clearing, he decided to go home.
When he was about to get up he felt a weird sensation, like if the hole forest just trembled and saw something coming from the sky, it was a huge spider leg. He tried to run, but that weird claw hit the ground, making Tony loose his balance, and started to break it till the point where there was a huge crack on the forest floor.
The claw now went for Tony and he somehow knew what he had to do, he grabbed his pocket knife which he always kept with him and when the claw grabbed his arm he tried to cut his aggressor.
With a horrifying screech the great claw let him go, but Tony falled right into the gap and the moment he crossed it he passed out
When he woke up, he was in a forest that looked the same as the other one but felt dark and terrifying. He also saw a campfire beside him with other people in it that looked sad and hopeless. He didn't have any idea over where he was but he took a decision, the guilt that once tormented him now was going to be his ally to help this people get their hope back and escape this strange place.
Perks:
No failure allowed
You hate the idea of failing. When you get injured or suffer from the exposed status effect you gain a 10%/15%/20% increase to stun time for a total of 2/3/4 minutes

You always try to be helpful. When an ally is on a hook gain a bonus of 5%/7%/9% to repair, healing and sabotaging speed.

Charity
Everyone must have the same chances. When starting a mach all the survivors but you that didn't bring an item will get a random item in the common category, one random survivor will receive an item of the common/uncommon/rare category
Using this perk prevents you from bringing an item or grabbing any in the trial
