Why won't you just die already???
I just had a Ghost Face game where a Felix brought a Haddonfield offering. He had Balanced Landing, Decisive Strike, Unbreakable and Borrowed Time. The game was painful but I managed to kill everyone.
The ending with the Felix was long Haddonfield chase into balanced landing into hook bomb with BT into slugging the Felix to get his BT save into his Unbreakable into another balanced landing Haddonfield chase.
The game was over. There was no way that Felix and his other teammate could escape. Why did he have to troll me for 3-4 minutes? Like just stop.

Points. The longer the game goes, the more chases he gets into and escapes, the more points and emblem advancement he earns. I would do the same thing, fight to the bitter end and learn all I can. If nothing else, extended chases are practice. This is the game. You shouldn't expect anyone to roll over and die for your convenience. If you are tired of chasing him, don't close the hatch.

If it weren't on that map with an offering I would have let him live personally for 3-4 min run. Being on Haddenfield muddies the water for me, as it's location and BL plus lots of practice and skill all together.

He was playing survivor. His job wasn't to just give up and feed you a kill because your rulebook said the game was over.

Because my time hasn't come yet :P

Why won't you just die already???
you didn't say "and stay down" after hitting him.

Why didn't you just stop and let him go? Same reason.

Yeah cause maybe "winning" isn't winning if the game feels like #########

It’s called survivor and killer for a reason. Each has their own objective for a reason. I don’t ever surrender.

You never know either, sometimes that attitude pays off.

An example of the same argument for both sides. But the thing is it's an evolving argument depending on the amount of hours you have. A lot of people with 10000 plus hours have lost any recollection of what it was like in the beginning and I think that is what the devs are trying to pay attention to. People aren't going to want to continue playing the game if every match early on feels like an oppressive experience. And the learning curve is such that early on could mean a variety of time lengths dependent upon the person.

The man has had his question answered pretty politely and accurately already- so there is not much more to say here.

Always a chance he could have lost you and found a key in a box, even if not, more bp, it's a grind for everyone

Why do so many killers complain about it? It's one of my favourite maps as killer, specially as trapper, can get a 4 gen easily. I love trapper. I should call him, haven't used him in awhile :'(

It's just to show his skill. If he can loop you for 3-4 mins then he must be a really good player. Also he probably wanted more points.

First off, if he got his Borrowed Time to trigger one of them could still have made the hatch. That's why the hatch exists. So there was a way for at least one of them to escape.
Second, the chase is part of the game. It is still playing. Killers complain when survivors suicide on hook -- they basically stop playing. You have no right to complain about him wanting to make a play for the hatch, he is still playing.

WHY
WON'T
YOU
DIE?

Yep his skill of picking a awful map for killer with. Balanced landing and with the rng of haddonfield the entire half of a map can be a loop or a cat walk

Trapper is literally one of the only killers who can deal with Haddonfield because you can trap every single one of the stupid as ######### God windows and drops. Hag can do it too. And maybe Nurse can deal with Haddonfield because, well, she's Nurse. But have fun trying to down survivors in those houses if you're a killer that has to chase/can't literally noclip through walls.

Haddonfield does still take some skill. You don't know where pallets are sometimes till you get to the area. Unlike other outdoor maps you can't see where pallets spawned from miles away.
Ino it's BL and Haddonfield but you can only use BL once per chase
