As devs review HUD elements, they should look at DBD Mobile. That team did it right!
I don’t want the HUD reverted, I want it customizable! Reposition and resize however I see fit.
Even better, most of the coding already exists for Mobile, so just convert it and use it! Quick, easy, effective.
Eh, I fear that maybe this just makes too much sense....

Mobile be doing more then the devs.

Why not? If you hate the hud so much would a customisable one not be better? You could put everything where it originally was and have the extra widgets there too

It would help if you would provide a screenshot of the mobile UI since not all of us play the mobile version. And yes, as I am typing this I realize I can google it but my match just started so I cant.

i dont think it would help with problems that new one gives people sych as headaches ect

I wouldn't say that if a common complaint of the current HUD is that it looks like it's a mobile game.

If you could change the position to the old one how would people get headaches unless they were already getting them before

A customizable hud wouldn't work...because its on mobile?

yeah we could put them there but the colors ect would stay so thats why i could not make no difference

didnt you saw a feedback that people dont like the new hud becous it look like in mobile game

Um...yeah?
You realize that people aren't mad that it looks like a mobile hud, its because they don't like the way most mobile huds look. In my in this situation you are literally saying you shouldn't be able to customize your hud how you want because you can do that on mobile and the association will just instantly piss everyone off lol

What’s wrong with the colours?

That's the only thing I want. Like how much harder could it be to implement a customizable UI?

Wow, this thread did NOT go the way I expected. So here’s some extra info.
I play on PS4. The tv isn’t tiny, but it isn’t huge either. It’s across the living room from me. I can’t make out what’s going on with the health bars because they’re too small.
I want to move them back to the bottom. I want to resize them to make them MUCH bigger. I want to shrink my “item” icon cuz it’s massive and obtrusive. I want to get gens off the top of the screen. Maybe play around with different locations till I see what I like.
On mobile you can do this. For example, drag the the “exhaustion” or “hex” notification circles to where you want. (I put mine at the top, default is along the bottom.) Move other elements as well. Now, on mobile there are buttons for controls to contend with. Not so here, so it should really be an easy feature to add in.
Just open an edit option, click an element, and drag it where you want. Click the corner of the selected element and drag to make it grow or shrink. I mean this is standard Microsoft Paint stuff here, it’s not that complicated!
Once we get this down, we can move on to bigger issues like the “injured” slash totally blocking out a character’s face, or figuring out why survivors can see each other’s hook stages but killers can’t. (I hate accidentally ending someone’s game too soon!)

You realise the reason we are in this position is because their lead UI designer worked on DBD mobile UI and even mobile game UI as far back as 2011-12, they made a mobile UI for a desktop game and it does not translate whatsoever

All I know is someone said yesterday that on Unreal 4 for someone with 0 programming knowledge, its a 4-5 hours job. Taking that with a grain of salt, I think they just don't care about the community. If they did, they'd have a poll with multiple UI and let us decide if they aint gonna give us customizable HUD, even though I dont understand why it changed in the first place since the old one was great and it required brain cells to remember the hook states.

I’ll admit I actually did not realize that. Therefore, I officially walk-back my suggestion of using the existing code from Mobile.
However, I stand by my assertion that they should use the IDEA from Mobile and make things customizable!
