Losing two pips/ No Survival Emblem

So I got tunneled by a Myers which is whatever I lasted until there was 1 gen left and at the end of the match I lost two pips and didn't get any survival emblem. This has never happened to me before and I've had much worse games. Is this new or is it an issue with the new update? OR have I just never been this unlucky?
