Is Individual killer rank coming?
I'm a Ghostface main and have pretty much mastered him at Rank 1 and LOVE playing as him...however, every now and then I like to switch it up and play other killers. But because I'm so used to GF stealth and mechanics, its very weird for me to play another killer that isn't similar at such a high rank. I believe I remember seeing that individual ranks were coming but cant remember where. Personally this makes sense to me because then I'll be able to play a wider variety of killers and actually be able to learn and play games that are equal to my skill with that particular killer.
Anyway, I thought I would ask, does anyone know if this is true?

MMR are coming, but I don't know if we have a date for now. When it'll be up, IIRC, your Killers should have an individual MMR. It'll be easier to learn to play each Killer this way. Let me find the official notes about it, I will edit my post.
Edit: found. It's under the section called Matchmaking Rating & Rank Rewards.

Thanks for taking the time to post this. But all I see that references my question is the sentence:
"You’ll earn rewards for both Killer and Survivor separately. For example, if you reach rank 1 on both roles, you’ll receive a total of 500,000 Bloodpoints"
I think that means, that blood points reward earned at the end of the month will be separate for survivor and killer ranks, not individual ranks.

I'd like that but then you'd really have to grind out as killer to rank all of them up

That is a fair point. After rank reset, it would be a #########.

The skill based matchmaking will take into consideration your skill with other killers but if you'e playing a brand new killer your skill rate won't be so high as on a character that you do really well with....so yes it's individual in that sense, of course you won't be a complete beginner level either, because you know maps, tiles etc

would brand new rank twenties (with a 100% winrate in theory) still be matched against really really successful players? Or because of playtime (affecting the mmr) will the successful players not be matched with baby players?

From my understanding brand new players shouldn't be matched with more experienced players, it should match them with their players around their skill level.

cool, one more question. Will 'de-leveling' your MMR be able to become a thing like de-pipping is currently? As in can people still give themselves bad score to go against new/er players who aren't as good
